I purchased this to replace my Nite-ize holster. The Nite-ize held my iPhone 3 with a rubber protective case too tightly and required two hands for removal. This holster hold the phone just as securely while only needed one hand for removal. I also carry a Leatherman Super Tool (which I love). The (almost) too deep multi-tool pocket sheaths the Super Tools sharp edges which better protects my iPhone screen. I carry a small adjustable wrench next to the Super Tool. A Mini-Mag AA LED Pro rides in the loop. My Maglite is black and is not conspicuous when worn.

This holder is bigger than the average sheath, but not overly large. I believe that most people that carry a sheath/holder will be happy with the size of this holder.

I bought this thing to carry my leatherman and a pair of reading glasses.

I was worried that this was not going to be deep enough to hold my reading glass' plastic tube but it was perfect. Actually it is a little too deep for the leatherman so I crammed a wad of paper in it so I can grip the multi-tool easier.

The cell phone pocket will hold my Android but I have the defender case which clips to my other side and allows me to use the flash light app to walk around in the dark.
A can of snuff fits well in that cellphone pocket as does my Kel Tec P3AT.

I am just so jazzed about always having a pair of readers handy.

Update########################
This is what I carry in mine:
1. 6" cresent wrench
2. Klein 11 in 1 driver
3. Bic pin 4. Leatherman multi-tool
5. L.E.D. AA Mini Maglte
6. Pair of reading glasses in hard case.
7. Smith Pocket Pal sharpener.
8. small 16 in 1 mini driver ( micro torx ,Allen, slotted and Phillips)

I thought of a mod that should add some serviceable life. I added a a small piece of
polyethylene plastic to the bottom of the large smart phone pocket.
it is a 1"x3" chunk I cut from a oil bottle. This will keep the pointed objects like my
13 in 1 screw driver tip and 6" crescent from boring a whole in the cordura clothe.

I am a supervisor in a large retail receiving area. This pouch allows me to carry my pen light, sharpie, pen, claims slips, note pad, receiving scheduled (folded) and my box cutter (S4.) If you need a holder for all those little times that us retail people seem to need at a moment's notice, this is the item for you! And the materials are sturdy enough to handle a rough day.

The photo depicting the size of the holder is completely inaccurate.
The dimensions on the picture show 8.5 inch height and 5.75 inch width which is what I needed for my field gear.
What I received however is a holder that is 7.20 inches high and 4.5 inches wide - completely insufficient for my needs.
Because this product was so cheap there is no point in returning it, but I will not be buying from this company again due to fraudulent size descriptions. Very disappointed. Buyers Beware.
Photo's added to show size received.

Being a he-man type and a bit of a superhero, it is below me to carry a man bag.....

This small tool and phone holder will hold my Android, Fenix 2-AA flashlight with a snap for it's lanyard, and a folding Leatherman pliers so no matter what major obstacles confront me, daytime or night, I am always able to rescue the damsel in distress, defeat evil, and go on to conquer anything that I may come up against while looking uber-cool to all who may gaze upon my day to day superhero feats. Yeah......

Looks nice but very poor construction. The loop of fabric on the side is barely hanging on. Part of it is already detaching without ever having used the loop. Were it well stitched, it can accommodate a MiniMaglite but is too small for typical LED lights (Streamlite, Fenix, for example). Other than the poor stitching on the loop, the main compartment is otherwise a good size to carry a multi-tool, pens, a 18650-powered flashlight, and a small multimeter. I plan on keeping it despite the flaws and certainly would have given it 4 or 5 stars were it properly stitched.

I carry so much junk with me all the time it is not even funny. On a typical day I will have my pill bottle, a folding utility knife, my Leatherman Style CS, at least 2 (sometimes 4 or 5) flashlights, a spare battery or 2, a laser pointer, chapstick, and who knows what else. I used to carry all that junk in my pockets, but I looked like an idiot, and was wearing holes in my jeans. I bought a Nite ize Pocket its several years ago and really liked it. It held nearly everything I wanted in a flat compact case and allowed me quick access to my folding utility knife in an uncovered front pocket. This worked out very well as I use the knife a couple dozen times a day. Well the clip broke after many years of use and I was sadden to read reviews that stated the quality had gone downhill. I decided to give this a try as it was so cheap and seemed pretty close to the Nite ize product. Its pretty close. But not perfect. First there is no uncovered pocket. Every time I need to get my knife I have to rip the velcro cover open (annoying when the velcro is new). THen I noticed that the cover really is kind of silly as the sides are pretty much open. There is a lot more space in this unit, but it sticks out a LOT further and I have caught it on my carseat when I'm getting in. I do like the metal clip better, but pound that the belt loop (something the Nite ize didn't have) works even better! I HATE that stupid key clip that hangs off the front (I hated the Nite ize one also) as my key ring is HUGE and LOUD, and LONG, and well not something I want hanging from my waist. Oh and that clip bounces around and jingles when i walk (ANNOYING!!) I really wich they would have made it removable. The unit is well made and I do like the external flashlight loop (fits a mini mag perfectly).Read more ›
