I was so excited to receive my new 2012 desk calendar. I was planning to wait until New Year's but the bunny on the cover with those fluffy feet just lured me into unwrapping it....one thing led to another and before I knew it, I had read all of the pages! Now I need the 2013 calendar ASAP.

Every photo is beyond cute and the captions are super creative. Love it.

I have been a follower of Meg's blog for years so when she created the calendars, I had to have it! I've been buying them since she started doing them and everyday is awwww-worthy. I don't let myself look ahead to future days either so each day is a little surprise. If you love animals, you will LOVE this calendar.

I love this calendar! I have it on my desk at work, and I enjoy looking over and seeing an adorable animal pic every day :) I take away one star from my rating because some of the pics are printed sideways

Being a person who hates terrible grammar, the little 'sayings' on the pages can be a bit annoying at times (for example: "kiteh"). However, the pictures are, of course, adorable. Great for girls, or anyone who wants to brighten up their workday with a daily dose of 'awwww' Weekends are a bonus, as there's 2 pictures on one page (Saturday and Sunday combined). The pages are of good quality, and they are made to be used as notepaper once they're torn off (they don't have that strange shiny coating). Even the base that holds the calendar (which is kind of a pink shade of plastic) is recyclable, which is a nice touch. The calendar also comes with a code for a free online Page-A-Day version of your choice.

My friend had the 2011 calendar, and I was jealous, so I made sure that this was my page-a-day for 2012. Except now I'm completely disappointed. Bugs, birds, and (most) rodents -- not cute. There's been more than one day I've had to tear the page off early because whatever un-cute thing was on that day was grossing me out so bad I couldn't bear to look at it. Plus the captions are so lame. Not pleased, CuteOverload. Not pleased at all.

I got this as a stocking stuffer gift for my boyfriend and we both enjoy the way cute animals. How could you not? He has a stressful job and I like knowing that it sets on his desk and takes him away for a brief moment and makes him smile. I recommend for animal lovers of a sorts.

I firmly believe the world would be a better place if everyone started their day looking at videos of baby sloths in pajamas cuddling or floating otters holding hands. Photos of smiling owls and wide-eyed Golden Retriever puppies? Yep, less war, fewer incidences of spousal abuse, banana splits for everyone. I, for one, have proven beyond a doubt that my world is now, officially, 4.1% happier because of cuteoverload.com.

However, my 70-year-old mother is not down with the whole 'computer' thing. So, I am giving this product five-stars for a) fostering world peace and b) allowing my non-laptop-addicted mother to get the benefits of teh cute without the eye strain.
