Cutey Baby is honestly the worst designed cloth diaper system ever! I should have been a good mom and researched prior to purchasing, I got 2 Medium and 2 Large covers and several soakers from one of the deal a day websites on impulse for a good price, even the low price and the cute prints on these cannot make up for what torture I have been through. The YUCK factor on these diapers is super high! If you're new to cloth diapering please please please do not buy these! If you're a seasoned to cloth diapering and really tempted to try these, then use it on baby when you're definitely sure he won't poop in them, and do not use them overnight.
Materials used are of the poorest quality. The fleece layer of both the cover and the soaker starts pilling in under 10 washings in hot semi soft water with soapnuts and the occasional Rockin Green, gentlest detergents ever. The cotton exterior is very thin I suppose it was meant to keep it a lightweight diaper. The applix is thin and they bend and crease in the wash when they disconnect from the spot on the fleece lining I stuck them. With time these creases on the applix eventually give way and crack. Never had issues with ANY other brand diaper with applix fasteners and I've cloth diapered 2 kids.
Soakers are about average for handling pee. Average absorbency although thicker than usual they don't hold as much pee as say Flip soakers. Overnight use is a nightmare this diaper leaks a lot. I've tried a variety of brands before and none leak as much as these did.Read more ›
I had the opportunity to review this diaper and i have to say when i first saw its desing i was apprehensive. Being used to pocket diapers where you stuff the inserts, the way this is to be put together threw me off, but alas i tried it out. and boy was i suprised. First the soakers are super duper absorbant. So much so that they lasted thorugh the night without any leaks at ALL!!!
I had yet to be able to accomplish this with any other CD unless i put like 4 soakers and my little man had a huge fluffly butt.
one soaker pad is all it took i didn't even have to double the soakers.
needless to say i'm in love with this diaper and the design we got was beyond cute.
And while I understand the whole cute design idea, I wouldn't mind a neutral white to wear with her dresses as the fushia is hard to match to almost all of her clothes.
I have several different kinds of cloth diaper covers, and these are by far the most useless, they were also the most expensive considering that you have to purchase the liners (that are not at all absorbant) separately.

Cute design. Doesn't really fit well at all so lots of leaks. Extremely small even for newborns.Published 2 months ago by DiaperBuyer
Super cute print and well made. Haven't gotten a chance to use it just yet but I don't foresee any issues. I wish you were able to cross the tabs, for a smaller waist baby, though.Published 4 months ago by Tabitha

I have to say, I was a little bit shocked at the prior reviews here and how they differed from my own experience, then I realized they are from a few years ago. Read morePublished on March 25, 2014 by Chris Mader
didn't like this item. I've purchased Charlie Banana Cloth Diapers and used them as Hybrids. This diaper was certainly a challenge. Read morePublished on February 21, 2014 by Mo
The inner waterproof liner detached after a few washes and started leaking. I even hung them to dry and do not have a agitator.Published on June 12, 2013 by Melissa Boucher
Diaper cover does what it's supposed to do. Velcro straps are super convenient and make cloth diapering much much easier.Published on May 2, 2013 by Matt Mimnagh

Get econobum or flips. The Velcro on these were awesome for a couple months, then would no longer work. Very cute designs, though.Published on March 25, 2013 by Amazon Customer
