A: When stored properly and not exposed to extreme temperatures, Cutter products will last for several years. If you notice any change in odor or appearance or damage to the packaging, replace the repellent with a new product.

Q: How soon can my pets and children re-enter the areas treated with Cutter outdoor area solutions?

A: Pets and people should avoid contact with treated areas until vapors, mists and aerosols have dispersed and the treated area has been thoroughly ventilated. Do not use in enclosed porches and do not apply product in a way that will contact adults, children or pets either directly or through drift.

Q: Can I use this product if it’s raining?

A: To avoid runoff, do not make applications during rain. Use your Cutter outdoor area solution in calm weather when rain is not predicted for the next 24 hours.

This has worked best on my 16x14 patio of all brands I have tried. My only complaint is the long wick. It will burn up your wax and smoke too much unless you cut the wick before you light it each night. Mine lasted three times as long doing this with clean smell and no smoke.

I needed something that would work outside. The mosquitoes this year in texas have been HORRIBLE. I hate applying sprays to myself because of the chemicals. These did wonders!! We did have to light ALL of them around our patio in order for them to work, but they did an amazing job. We used all six of them at the same time every day for about 3 months and still have them left over for use next summer. They burn evenly and are perfect. The bucket handle is handy when you want to hang them from stuff to avoid people knocking them over. The lid is awesome because you dont get rain and bugs in it and can leave it sitting outside for future use. I love these and will be buying more of them when we run out.

Price is great.
Perfect size.
They're going to last all summer long. We usually light them 3-4 times a week and let them burn for about two hours. Have been doing that for a couple weeks now and it looks barely used.
They do a fairly good job at keeping the mosquitoes away when you set up a perimeter.
They do have a strong scent so if you're sensitive to that, take care where you sit in relation to them. Especially if there's a breeze.
Love the paint color. Was a little plain once the brand label was removed, but we dressed them up with some dragonflies.
Also have plans to use the buckets for planters one the candle is gone.

The citronella candles inside each container have been chiseled out with a sharp instrument and placed back inside for reasons we cannot possibly fathom. Carving marks are all over and messy wax shavings everywhere! Anyone care to offer a possible explanation? Strange.

First of all, I set 5 of these around my patio area and it makes a huge difference between being eaten alive by mosquitos and rarely seeing one. It works.

The one thing that bothers me is the little canister/bucket is only half full. They could have made these much better by not being cheap and putting more candle in there! They do seem to last about 30 hours total.

Love the strong scent and burn time. However, not sure if it repels bigger bug such as moths well. I had moths flying into the lame and landing in the melted wax which was very frustrating. I wanted it to repel bugs not attract. I suggest burning it for a bit in the area you'll be in then entering.
