These will cut hard orthodontic wire, but it's not as easy as it would be if the blades were sharper. Aside from that, they seem well made.

The metal is magnetic, meaning subject to magnetism (not magnetized), but most people with braces don't need to worry about that.

RDM is a recent US brand of orthodontic tools. The cutters have the H&H brand etched on the handle. There's no indication of where they're made.
