Only issue is that for some families the things presented may not be part of their own culture and therefore will not really know what the images are representing. This was not an issue for us however, since in our home, we have a lot of Japanese influence from paper lanterns, sakura blossoms, Japanese dishware, Japanese shows, etc. My husband even writes in Japanese. In fact, we delight in having educational material from Japan and Europe, not just the US, in order to give variety to a toddler's experience.
I wish each section with stickers can be separated easily for the activity a child is working on so that you don't have to go back to the very first page to find a sticker. I ended up cutting a section that she needs for the activity.
It seems there are too many instructions prior to the activities. Since the children are not going to read the detailed instructions, they can be simplified and minimized.
