From the minds of Kris, Rob, Matt, and Dave comes a barrage of irreverent entertainment sure to keep you amused until the day you die. Just see what their mothers have to say!
"Dave is a nice, young man with a bright future ahead of him. I always knew he was a gifted boy who would go on to do great things. I hope he settles down with a nice, young woman and ****s the **** out of her."
"I don't know how to get computer pictures, so I'm glad Kris finally has a book out. I haven't read it yet, but I hope he gives me a quote on the back."
"I hope Robert's book does well so he can finally afford to move out. He plays his hip-hop music too loud."
Matt's mom was unavailable for a quote due to being dead.

Well it's BETTER! For some reason they included 30 strips I'd never seen before. Also, the colors are more vivid in the book than they are on my computer monitor. It's very aesthetically pleasing.
They have also included a funny "About the authors" section in the back of the book, with pictures of the authors rendered in their Cyanide & Happiness art styles.
Did i mention it is HILARIOUS???
Only thing I didn't like is that I had to wait a couple months for it, since it was released in the UK first. And that US doesn't get a hardback edition. Just the paper back one.
The paper back isn't bad, it's actually quite resistant, but hardback would have been a plus and I would have paid the extra couple of bucks for it.
Anyways, great book. Highly recommended if you are fan of [...], if you are not, go to their webpage first, since not everyone likes their comedy (can be offensive). I LOVE IT.
This book is full of webcomics about... nothing... and everything. Yes, they make fun of the crucifixion, boobies, murder, child murder, sex, and everything else. It is meant to be taken lightly, but has very serious undercurrents that require a certain dark humor to appreciate. This comic is NOT for everyone. It is, however, insightful, brilliant, acerbic, and (most importantly) incredibly funny.
Now, for the book itself, it is a paperback book with color drawing. It is 160-something pages or so long, and it recreates comic from the web, while adding a couple new ones. If you have read all the webcomics, though, don't expect a whole lot of new material. The colors stand out well on a semi-gloss paper stock, and the paperback is not flimsy. Certainly, as someone else stated, hardback would have been great, but they did not skimp on the weight/sturdiness of the paperback cover.
Conclusion? If you like the webcomic... GET IT. It is a great addition to any collection and non-webcomic-savvy friends will love you for sharing it with them. If you've never heard of it, go to the website first and test it out to see if it's your brand of humor. It is NOT for everyone. I love it, though. I bought it, no hesitation, and I don't regret it.
I read this on my Kindle Fire (non-HD) and frequently had to touch a picture and zoom to read the tiny text in some of the cartoons, which got to be a drag after a while. Nevertheless, an enjoyable albeit brief read.
This collection contains some of the most dark and dry humor comics I've read. It's also part of the Kindle Matchbook program so you can get the digital version for really cheap.
The authors are also working on small short videos every week, so I think it's great supporting their work so they can improve the quality of their work even more and guarantee that we'll have a daily comic for years to come!
