Can I hook this up to my TV?

It depends on the output capabilities of the TV. The TV must have a 3.5mm output. Usually these are headphone outputs.

Can I plug this directly into my game controller?

Although some game controllers do have 3.5mm audio output, plugging the green source plug into the controller can damage the source plug. If using the speakers this way it is recommended to use an AUX cable and the Aux port on the controller.

Does it work with laptops?

Yes, as long as the laptop has a 3.5mm audio output.

The speaker took a little bit to set up on my Windows 11 computer because the computer needed a few minutes to set up the driver. I haven't played much but You Tube shows but the volume and bass seem to work okay, I just haven't had to use those controls much. It is working as I needed as a general set of speakers and for that it works fine.

Overall not a bad set for a PC but the bass quality is sub-par and lacks a punch, also having the sub-woofer volume control on the sub is a bad idea the last one I had you could control it with the same main controller, it was located on the side of the dial. had it for years and was chewed up by a cat and saw this one to replace it with.. but I guess it's not the same.

Sounds really good. I would suggest downloading FXSound. You'll get a lot more out of them than without it. Get ready for a rats nest though. Lots of wires going everywhere. Maybe I'm just not used to them. I would've given them a two. Had I wrote this review before downloading FXSound. But it really brought out their potential. Not sponsored by them or anything. But this little set has more than it looks to have.

I'm quite happy with my new speakers. My old speakers and base were so old and bad that the first time I turned on my new Cyber Acoustics CA-3090 2.1 Computer Speakers, I was shocked. The base is deep and strong, but take some time to set the control a little lower than you'd like to because only studio quality music will sound great. Others will be distorted if you use your "usual" setting of the base. I gave 3 stars for the volume control, because I need two hands to turn it on. On the other hand, I can place it near either of the speakers and it seems you can plug a headset into it (haven't tried that yet). I also like that that are no disturbing trendy lights on the speakers.

I was surprised when I came back to write a review on this system to see the price had almost doubled from the $55 CDN that I paid for it 4 days earlier! At $110 I cannot recommend buying this system at $55 yes. The sound is good but not anything exceptional the volume control is nice to have especially with the bass control. The manufacturing quality of this system is something you would expect of a $40-$50 system so I feel the price increase to $110 is unjustified. Save your money and look at another manufacturer!
