For a full headset under $10, these are fantastic! I have a laptop and move around a lot, so I don't treat my headphones especially gently. This pair has fallen repeatedly, been yanked around, and had the microphone extension bent all kinds of wrong ways, but it still works fine! It's even survived cats chewing on the cord, but I did tape those parts so the wires weren't exposed.

Sure, it's basic, but it's also light and comfortable to wear for long periods. The parts that go over your ears are easy to clean and the sound quality is very nice. The mic isn't amazing (s-sounds aren't as crisp as they could be; p's tend to pop), but it's better than several more expensive headsets I've used in the past.

Overall I'm very happy and I would purchase these again!

I purchased this headset for Rosetta Stone, which does not work with the built-in microphone in my laptop. The audio is loud and clear and I haven't had any issues with the microphone. The headset expands like most over-the-head headphone by lengthening the total length of the band. At the smallest setting it is a little too large for my head (I'm an adult and wear a small bike helmet, for comparison) but not so large that it is distracting or falls off. The entire headset is plastic and feels somewhat delicate but I have not had any issues with it. Be aware, though, that this headset attaches to the computer using separate headphone (pink) and microphone (green) jacks, not a USB port. After receiving it I realized my computer has a single audio jack so I had to buy a USB-to-audio adapter as well.

I go through headsets very quickly and was tired of spending way too much money on them and having them be destroyed in the various ways I managed to destroy them. This set is ok. I wouldn't give it five stars most probably because they could be a bit larger around the ears. They aren't too small for me, but they don't fit perfectly either. I use these for dictation software and was aware that I needed to use the front plugs on my computer and not the USB when I purchased these. That was fine with me. I also found, in a pinch, they will work with my little Ipod Shuffle when I'm out walking. It doesn't bother me that there is a cord hanging.

The Microphone picks up everything I need it to, with only a little background noise. Since background noise is a problem with dictation software, I was pleased that the TV wasn't picked up by the microphone. Although the microphone appears to be nowhere near my mouth, I bent it slightly so that the end is pointing towards my lips and it works fine on distinguishing words.

Over all I'm pleased. If this breaks, and I know it will because I always manage to run my office chair over them, or set my briefcase down on top of them, or sit on them, I will buy another pair from Cyber Acoustics.

Worked great for the first 2 months!

They felt nice on the ears, they sounded good when they worked, they voice quality of the mic was great.

Was careful with them and paid close attention to not stressing the wire or the jack. However after about 2 months the audio started cutting in and out and you had the play with the plug/wire connection to get it to work, steadily got worse.

Maybe I just got unlucky with my plug/wire on mine, if that hadn't broke in 2 months I would have given these 5 stars.

I run a small wattage community radio station. My expensive headphone/microphone set broke (the plastic, not the functionality) and I got sick of putting new electrical tape on it (it broke in a very inconvenient spot where the tension from putting them on would eventually require the need to tape them again). So I went out on a limb and ordered these. To my pleasant surprise, they aren't bad at all for the money. They aren't high quality, but like the headline says, they do the job. The monitoring sound isn't bad for Skyping or the radio, and the microphone sounds good on air. I wouldn't use them for recording, no way, but if you're just looking for a good deal on a set of decent ear phones with mic, this one is aces. Definitely four stars considering the price.

I'm giving this five stars because it's what I expected it to be. It's cheap and it does the job. As far the product itself given it's price you shouldn't have many expectations. The sound isn't that great, the headphones are flimsy, and I don't expect them to last long at all. To someone like me who needed a headset for a single project it's a lot better than investing in a quality headset. I paid less and I knew what I was going to get from it. Don't buy expecting quality because it's not there.

I started a new job working from home after losing my job to Covid. My headset worked a week fine, then the left earpiece quit working. By week 2, the microphone quit working. Not only was it an embarrassment in my training class not being able to respond, but it counted against me and I was threatened with being fired because I could not communicate for 2 days. I ran to Best Buy and bought another headset w/microphone which worked, no problem. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS CRAP HEAFSET!

For the price, I wasn't expecting much. I just wanted something "cheap and cheerful" in case I needed to hop on a Zoom call during lockdown.

Out of the box, the headphones work great. The sound is good in fact, that I have unplugged my PC speakers which actually cost more money! The cable is a decent length as well, which is important.

With the microphone, make sure that you have the right microphone selected by default in your PC settings. Don't have it set to your webcam mic or anything stupid like that. I did, when I first tested it.

But when I got the settings right, I tested the mic again and it gave me better results that a large standing mic I own which I paid £70 for (ripped off there).

I don't normally bother leaving reviews at all, but I wanted to say "thanks" with this one.
