The Cyborg Center sent the Red Squad of Cyborgs they were cloned, not used by using previous military personnel that were not going to survive unless they signed up the Cyborg program. The program was supposed to wipe their memories. But Blue Squad was starting to remember things, so unless Amanda could help them Cyborg Center was going to destroy Blue Squad.
Red Squad rescued Amanda and kept her under guard at the hospital next to Cyborg Center but Blue Squad rescued Amanda, but she and AD214 were caught and AD214 was tased, which shorted out his system. So Amanda convinced them to take AD214 to the Lab so he could be humanely put down, which was a lie, she just rebooted him, and called the rest of Blue Squad to come help them.
Come to find out the Doctor of the program was as part Cyborg. After Amanda’s TV interview about how the Blue Squad was having memories, their were quite a few different reactions Canada was sympathic and there were some sympathetic people who helped them get to Canada.
Lisa Lace has such a wonderful way with words that it keeps you entertained and turning pages to find out what is going to happen next.
SABIN: Alien Warrior, is the name of the second included book here. This book is also interesting because it is about putting a name and face to the sins and weaknesses of most of the citizens of the galaxy. Ancient beings so ugly and nasty, they hide in the shadows of the worst possible places on the planet they are attacking, they are black, stinking, wraith like creatures who feed off the fear of others and cause madness and death. Enter SABIN, huge fierce alpha warrior of the planet Samis. He attempts to fight the Nine, as the black wraiths are called, after almost everyone on his planet, including his family, is killed by them. The Nine move onto earth, a greener pasture, after they devastate Samis. Sabin follows, trying desperately to figure out a way to defeat the Nine. He meets, Heather, a nurse at a local hospital. For some reason, one even she doesn't understand, she takes him in and a hot, passionate love affair begins. When sick and crazed people start overfilling the hospital, Sabin knows it is time for him to be a warrior he is and hunt down the Nine.
So, at about 53% I started skipping pages hoping to find interesting parts, but no such luck. I will not read any of the other books in this series.
