I am not a baker. Not even close, but I wanted to give my son a fun Lego party with his friends. I made chocolate bars in these molds and they worked great.
I used these for my son's Lego birthday party, Because the mold was plastic and not silicone the chocolate stuck to the tiny holes what make the brick's build able. It was a pain getting them out, they are however a good size so I sprayed some EVOO in it and just let it do it's thing, that seemed to help a bit. I ended up using this for cake pop's instead of your normal circle style cake pop. Let's just say the kids loved them.
I bought this to use for my son's 5th birthday party. He was having a lego themed party and I wanted to send home lego shaped candy with all of the kids. I ordered this because it was cheaper than most on here. It worked great for what I needed it for, the only thing I would caution against is to be aware that it is not metal. The item listing looks metal because it's been placed on a dark background, but it is in fact plastic. It still works fine and is sturdy. I even ran mine through the dishwasher after using it and it's still in perfect condition.

These are flexible plastic molds. I used candy melts in various bright primary colors to make chocolate legos for decoration on cupcakes. I would recommend purchasing 3-4 trays so the process can go faster. Of course, this depends on the quantity you need to make. Because the molds are flexible they're easy to take out. I would highly recommend this item. I'm not sure what I'll use them for after the party, but just like ice cube trays, I may make flavored lego ice cubes for my son's drinks.

I made a lego cake. These are awesome. Please note that the picture looks like metal but these are plastic trays. AND you should buy a few if your making several or you could be at this for quite some time :-)
The "Legos" are much bigger than I expected. I wanted to use them as decoration on top of cupcakes for my son's birthday. Each brick was longer than the standard cupcake size, so I had to very carefully cut them in half. It also wasn't very easy to get them out of the mold after the chocolate had set. It was a little easier after chilling the chocolate in the fridge first.
Good, sturdy plastic. I used these for my little boys birthday cupcakes. I only had the 1 tray and used it several times to make the chocolate bricks. I put it in the freezer and didn't have any problems. Very cute idea and very hard to find. I'm glad amazon had it.
Chocolate comes out clean and quick every time I've used this. The mold is a little larger than I'd like for making lego candy, and the bricks come out a little too thick for my taste, but this is a great product and perfect for anyone looking to get creative (and edible) with lego!! ;)
