Cyclops BOSS keeps in my bull.

Bought the Cyclops Boss, (30 joule model).
Had my 1,800lb. bull get out during a bad storm, lighting hit the fence and fried my old charger. I put a spare charger i had which was a Silver Streak 3 joule in place, and observed my bull rubbing himself against the fence for fun. I touched it and was disappointed at the slight tingle. Keeping in calves and old cows is easy, but a bull that tests fences needs a strong dosage to respect them.
I've always felt if you own livestock, especially bulls, you have a responsibility to have adequate fencing.
Standing on dry ground, i take a 3" blade of grass and touch a hot wire with it, it's painful enough in my hand i can't hold it on.
I'm confident if i touched a ground and hot wire close to the charger, it would throw me on my back or kill me....... perfect.

Great strength and power. Strong zap. Weeds need to be trimmed and need to be careful of shorts. But angus heifers, cows and bulls all respect single wire. Does a good job keeping them inside the fence. Currently have 15-20 acres fenced and lots of turns and curves in fence line. Full power over 7,000 volts all the way through. Fence tester only goes to 7,000 and it’s bright! After a few days and training, the pigs didn’t bother the single strand for a few months thereafter.

The Cyclops Super fence charger works excellently in keeping in our French Alpine Buck. He is 190 lbs of Rut... and respects this fence!! We originally purchased the Champ, but he was not phased by it at all. (He is a long haired goat) With the aid of excellent customer service on the sellers part and Amazon Primes easy return policy, I was quickly refunded for the first unit purchased and quickly bought a more powerful unit. I would definitely recommend this product!!! A+

I was using a different brand solar fence charger to keep my cows on one side of the pasture. Cows would go straight through it. Ordered this and it took the cows about 5 minutes to decide they didn't want to be anywhere near the electric fence! Tons of power! I will be using cyclops for all my fence charger needs from now on.

While installing the charger, some repairs were needed on the fence, My helper, when I was some 500 feet away from the charger plugged the unit in before I was done.
I ended up on my butt from the reaction to the shock. Even with a partially shorted fence, it works. I have cattle and a Mule. They really
respect this fence and so do I! Even with wet grass shorts it keeps in excess of 6kV.

Poor quality control

I opened the box and positive or fencer knob was laying in bottom of box. The ground knob had the ground post tightened so hard I could not remove it without breaking the knob trying to get post out. I am not impressed with such an expensive unit having such poor quality control issues.

This is a no BS charger. I used this to replace a so called “hot charger” typically found at the Farm store, and no comparison whatsoever! This thing packs some punch. Even with not so clean fence the cattle don’t want any part of it, and bulls only test it once. I will be replacing all three on the farm with the cyclops now, very happy. Make sure to ground properly as instructed.

No Bull, this will regulate the mind if they can’t make a decision to stay off the line. It’s got a tick so it’s good if u can put it away so it can’t be heard. Any animal will get smart enough to pair noise, no tick no shock.
