I fist ordered this in July 2019. I revived a good product, of reasonable quality, that was close to in size to the description. It measured .300" H x .350 W. The adhesive was pretty good.
I needed more this year and ordered it a second time, Feb 2020, and got a completely different product. This time the material was rolled so the adhesive side was on the inside of the roll and this caused the protective cover to become separated in many places from the material. I don't know if this caused the adhesive to fail, but it did not stick or work anywhere near as good as the fist order I received. The bigger problem however, was the second order, was an altogether different size measuring .350" H x .400 W. This is a major problem because I designed my hatches for the size I first received, and this second order is too large to work!
I'm also suspicious if the adhesive is really 3M. Although it looks similar in the makings on the cover, it is not like the 3M adhesive on other products I use, like the Trim Loc line of products. Is this a knock off where someone is just putting 3M on the cover to make it look like it's a 3M product? I don't know, but have my suspicions.
Bottom line, you can't be sure what you'll receive when you order this, so I would stay away. I'm really stuck now, because I can't find a product the same size as listed and received last July. Frustrating!
