Maybe an experienced vamper (what do you call somebody who knows all about vampires and lives that life vicariously through books and movies??) -- maybe an experienced person would have a different reaction than i did. BUT ....
When the fangs came out and Greta bit into Josh's neck (I'm not going to spoil it, I promise!), I thought he would die. I didn't know that vampires snacked and didn't leave their prey dead and completely drained.
I didn't know that vampires appeared only at night. I didn't know . . . well, anything, actually.
It was fun to read and probably the best introduction I could possibly have had because it only cost a buck, it was interesting, and I was able to read it at a single sitting --- on my iPad at bedtime. I slept well, and if I dreamed about it, it was only the sexy parts --- I never woke in fear that my blood was being drained.
Give it a try! Especially if you are new to the vampire world!
