Erik "Dash" Dashling will have readers panting for more and wondering what this reckless and dangerous man will do to not only keep a job that's made for him but the girl he's willing to break all the rules for after only one night together.

Dash is definitely an interesting character. He's lived his life on the edge, following his own rules, and while his inability to follow the law should get him into a whole heap of trouble, he always finds a way out of it with his smooth talking and deep pockets, and this time around, it might just land him a career where he can use his adventurous side to put him on top. Tabatha is a work in progress. She's a smart mouthed and strong willed woman who fell for the wrong guy and ended up becoming someone she didn't recognize. But that's the past, and now she's all about reclaiming her old self and putting her needs above all else.

Both Dash and Tabatha have a lot at risk by not only putting their hearts on the line, but giving into a relationship that is not as open and honest as it should be, and because secrets always have a way of coming out, deception can lead to catastrophic events, which seems to be where Dash and Tabatha are headed as the story continues, both individually and as a couple, due to outside players and their vendettas against the hot couple, which spells trouble for their relationship and even Dash's career.

There's multiple factors to consider in Dash and Tabatha outing their relationship to the public eye and with Tabatha's insecurities and Dash's risky profession, nothing is cut and dry and the risks they face might be too much for them to endear, especially when the hits just seem to keep coming.

OMG! This story broke my heart in more ways than one, but I loved it just as hard as it damaged my heart.

For the last year, Tabatha Knight has been in a relationship that has caused her to lose who she once was. Now that the relationship has ended she is determined to find the woman she once was and starts the journey with a fun night out with her friends.

Erik Dashling seems to always find himself in some kind of trouble that results in him behind bars. One typical day he finds himself behind bars and bailed out with the opportunity of a lifetime at his feet. To celebrate he throws a party and in the mist of things meets an incredible woman who he can’t get out of his head. However, this same woman could be the one woman that can end his dreams in an instant.

The love story between these pages is very realistic in the sense that every relationship has their issues and DASH is not in short supply with testing the relationship between Tabatha and Dash. The relationship issues are completely relatable and even with the factor of Dash being an up and coming sensation in his motorcycle career in the mix. It’s not everyday that a relationship forms out of a drunken one-night stand.

The story not only has a love story, but it has a little mystery and suspense intertwined into the story that is always in the background. Not so far back that you forget about it, but right on the edge that you are left trying to figure it out before you find out because it’s just enough to nah at your brain. The mystery in itself is a little predictable, I think maybe the outcome could have been more of a shocker, but it still adds to the storyline.

What I found refreshing is that even though Dash has a talent for motorcycle racing he doesn’t belong to a MC.

Where oh Where do I begin with this one. Dash is the first book I have read by Shantel Tessier and I loved it. Her writing reaches out and grabs the reader from the very first page and doesn't let go.

Erik "Dash" Dashling lives for speed. He rides hard and crazy and parties just the same. When one last stunt lands him in the slammer again, he is given a get out of jail free card if he will sign with Johnny Knight and race motorcycles for him. Something that has always been his dream. Not only does he get out of jail, but he can no longer party, drink or mess around. Dash decides that he needs one last hurrah before he starts to work for Mr. Knight. He decides to throw himself a party, where he meets a pretty amazing girl, only to find out the next day that she is the daughter of his new boss.

Tabatha Knight has just broken up with her boyfriend. She can no longer stand for the way he is treating her and she needs to learn to stand on her own two feet and be the strong independent woman that her father raised her to be. To put Rodger in her past she decides to attend a party with her best friend, only to find herself doing the walk of shame the next morning and to make matters worse the guy shows up at her parents house.

Tabatha and Dash share an undeniable chemistry and try as they may to hide their feelings for one another, it just doesn't seem to work that way. With the odds stacked against them and their ex's causing havoc in their lives, they try to keep their relationship a secret, but that can only last so long.

When Dash wins his first big race it see,s that they have their entire future ahead of them.
