Great tire inflator for my Prius, backed by A+ Customer Service

Got this since gas stations in San Francisco are being replaced by Condos. My 2010 Prius gets the low tire indicator on one tire every three months. Rather than have to place more service calls to AAA, it was time to get a tire inflator!

This unit has everything needed to inflate a tire, balance ball, raft, volleyball, etc. Has an included tire gauge, clamp on connector, and is powered from car's 12v cigarette lighter accessory port.

I had a few issues trying to use it - mostly user error. I couldn't get a good connection with the tire valve since I have arthritis and using the clamp proved to be a challenge. Didn't start the car before using the tire inflator and it inadvertently ran my battery down to where I needed a jump start. Doh!

Went back and the instructions say to clearly start car before using the inflator.
DBPower Customer Support really helped me out. Charles was very understanding and sent me a replacement unit overnight. New unit worked flawlessly.

DBPower Customer support ROCKS! A+ Fast response. Listened, and took care of me. Definitely first class.
If anything goes wrong with my unit, I am confident that DBPower will resolve the any issues without a fuss.

Does what you need it to do

Review for AP3003. Small little product that does what it’s supposed to do. Feels light weight and would easily break if handled roughly or dropped. While the cable is long enough to plug into your dash and allow you to get to your front and back tires through open front doors, the tubing/hose from the unit to the tire is too short in my opinion. The amount of tubing you see on the picture is the amount of tubing you can extend from the unit. If it had even been maybe one or two inches longer, would have been easier to manipulate and connect to tires, instead of having to worry for integrity of the hose due to being twisted around so that it would lock into the tire air entry port while still being able to display the pressure gauge...that said, the pressure gauge wasn’t too helpful. It reads maybe 4 or 5 psi lower than what you actually have in your tire, so i had to overfill by 4-5 psi (according to the ap3003 pressure gauge). It does take a little bit of time compared to the bigger units you can run off AC/wall plug in with a tank/reservoir. Took me about 4-5 min to get a tire from 30 to 35 psi on Chevy equinox

This pump quit working within a few months of use. It is listed as "1year warranty no questions asked" and you have to contact the company directly. I contacted them and after answering numerous questions, sending numberous photos, videos that they requested they told me it was no longer in stock and said they could give me a 20% refund. NOT ACCEPTABLE. They wasted 15-20 minutes of my time claiming the warranty and then offered me $4 as a refund. I told them that was not acceptable so they said 30% was best they could do.. because "I used the product a lot" (which I certainly didn't). This company is extremely dishonest and will not stand by their word. Product was lousy.. literally used less than 6 times to pump up the air bags on my truck. DO NOT BUY OR TRUST THIS COMPANY.

I was always scared to use the air at gas stations because I didn't really know how to do it, but I seem to have air pressure issues with my tires no matter what I do, so I got this DBPOWER DC 12V Mini Tire Inflator so I could figure it out from the privacy of my garage and not look like an idiot in public. It is eaaaasy to use. One of my tires would not take in air and alerted me that the valve core was clogged. I took it to a Les Schwab Tire Center and they fixed it in two minutes and didn't charge me anything. This is going to come in very handy. Great purchase.

Simple and easy to use car pump

Needed a car pump to keep in the car in case tires go flat or run low on air. After combing through Amazon reviews, this seemed to fit the bill.

Pros:

+ Price was affordable
+ Compact

Areas for Improvement:
- Quality felt a little cheap and could have been better

Bottom line: This compact car air compressor gets the job done and saved me from a complete flat for a few days. A nail went into a car tire and I did not know about - all I saw was tire pressure sensor on daily for about 3 days and I used this to keep the tire full until I was able to bring it into the shop.

Piece of junk dont waist your money. Purchased and never tested. Had small leak in car tire. Fixed leaked and attempted to inflate tire. I continuously checked ever 20 mins for 4 hours and still nothing.

Update: after leaving this review the sell has sent me a new air pump, completely different air pump in all honesty and about 2x the size. This new air pump works well so far. Im only giving it 3 stars since they did not replace it with the original instead shipped out a different model and keep harassing me to change this bad review. I appreciate getting a new one but you scammed me on the first on!

Makes noise but deflates

I thought it would be do you have a small pump like this in my trunk in the event my car tires will run low in the mitts of some trip. Finally two years after I got this pump opportunity arrived. Hooked it up to my 12v charger in the car and started to pump however after 2-3 minutes I realize I’m slowly losing the tire pressure instead of adding.

This is a convenient product to have in the car. I ran over a nail on the highway and was able to fill my tire quickly and make it to the repair shop easily. My problem with the product came later when I went to use it again. It no longer worked.
