In addition, the press release only highlights prior and possibly current Russian cyber-activities, yet never states categorically that Russia hacked the DNC.

At first, in 2016, I thought of Goodman as a "shock jock". Perhaps some of his headlines look too good to be true. Yet perhaps it is all true what he says, but it is also true that people get away with stuff. I do not want to say too much here. I know in my heart the timing of the birth of this Russia narrative, and how people scrambled in dark places to keep up this myth, in ways that somehow illuminated everything for many people, which just gave it away.
