Keep above freezeing... Not out in the workshop or Garage
Try not to half use and charge... Use and then recharge ( unless you know it will be a while till next JOB)
Inbetween, keep charged, I rotate them inbetween Jobs to allow a top off of charge and conditioning.
The skill saw heats the Batts, A LOT.. Be sure to allow to cool after.
As a battery they work just as well, if not better, the the batteries that came with the tool set when it was new. Like I said I only wish the cost spread was a little more between these and lithium batteries.
I'm not a contractor, but still use my cordless Dewalt tools -- drill driver, circular saw, reciprocating saw -- quite often.
They fit my Dewalt tools correctly. They have enough energy to last a while. I have 2 batteries. I use one until it runs out of power then switch to the second one and charge the first. I don't recall ever having to wait for one to charge.
The charge also stays with them for a couple of weeks if they are not being used.
I'm purchasing these to replace the two I've had for about 4 1/2 years now.
I'd buy them again.
I have considered purchasing the NiMH version as they are less expensive, but I've had good luck with these so I've decided to stay with what has worked for me.
