When I first started this up after installing one of my batteries (I bought the bare tool without a battery) I was really surprised at the blower power, enough to push my arm back at first because I wasn't holding it firmly. My first thought was I need to buy five more of these and build a hovercraft for my grandkids! Ok I'm not going to do that but I bet it would work great.
I have two other blowers, one gas that I never use and another that is corded. The corded one is heavy and hurts my back to use it, its louder and really doesn't work too great (not a Dewalt either).
This one was actually fun to use (don't tell my wife, she doesn't know that I might be enjoying using it more than I would admit). My back did not hurt using it because its much lighter and better balanced. This one does not come with a strap which I was worried about but frankly I didn't need it. It's also quiter, I did not feel the need to grab my headset for hearing protection although I will normally use them.
On my first use I blew out my garage which was covered in blow-in insulation from a recent attic upgrade. The installer had left dust, fibers, and fuzz-balls on everything, I mean everything. In about 30 minutes I had blown out the entire three car garage and started on the leaves in my front yard. It was about that time my battery gave up but it was not fully charged. I have four so I charged up anther and so far I've used it about 35 minutes and it's still going.
Honestly, I regret not buying this a few years earlier. It would have saved me a lot of time and backaches.
