All in all, will keep this but again for light duty only.
I had to replace mine for a Milwaukee fuel m12 3/8 and the difference was night and day. Even comes with a nice box. And trust me the $50 difference is worth it. This dewalt is nice and very lightweight but the power is just to minimal.
Socket fit on the hog ring angle is tight, as noted by some other reviewers, but I think it strikes just the right balance between ease of removal and not coming off when you don't want it to.
This also has the feel of a well-made durable tool, although time will be the ultimate judge on that score. The plastic pieces have a very high quality feel and the rubber overmolding is perfectly done. It also comes with the new 1.5 amp-hour battery packs, which give it plenty of run time.
All in all, a neat, useful, and well-made tool.
This tool is simply awesome. Super powerful, easy to control, and the batteries last forever. It's light and compact with a neat belt/pocket clip that really saves time. My wife does some projects herself and loves this over the larger 18v tools we have (and this actually has more power than those larger tools). Everyone should own this tool and the 12v Max drill.
So far I have this 3/8 impact tool, 2- 3/8 drills, the 1/4" driver, the 1/4" impact, the reciprocating saw & the articulating work light.
Working on getting the USB adapter & maybe a heated jacket.
BTW I have had Zero problems with any of these tools over the past 3 years.
