Reliable effective remote internet control of my 240V hot water heater and well pump.

I almost didn’t buy this because there were many critical reviews. However because it looked like the most cost effective solution to my problem, to remotely turn my water heater on and off, I contacted the seller directly. What I learned was that an earlier app had caused problems with connectivity to the WiFi signal, and as a result control was unreliable. I was assured that the more recent App from Google Play or the Apple APP store had fixed the problems. The new app is called “ECO Plugs”. Based on that reassurance, and knowing I could count on Amazon to accept a return if it didn’t work, I went ahead with the purchase. I’ve very glad I did because the first one worked so well at controlling my hot water heater that I bought a second to control my well pump. Both have been rock solid ever since I installed them. Despite the occasional power outage or internet glitch, both have remained reliably active, and whenever there was a glitch they recovered themselves and continued to give me total control of my two devices. I can’t recommend them highly enough. They are a unique solution to controlling a 240V applicants using WiFi from anywhere, and the price is very attractive. The physical installation is also very elegant looking, so I have no real downsides to report.
