Pretty, but the strap is awkward

Love the print and color, but the tie is very awkward. The ties and part that go over the head are all in one. It's like a long ribbon that weaves in to both sides of the apron and ties in the back. You pull the ties to raise the top part on your neck, but it slides around and doesn't stay in place. Will probably adjust it and then sew it, so that it won't slide around.

It feels like quality. Sometimes the sash migrates around so one tie is longer than the other, but it just needs to be held in place with a stitch. I like it a lot.

For the price - a good product. Bought for use in clay crafts. The fabric softens to a nice texture after a couple of washes. Color has stayed through these washes (have purchased both the blue & the black). Previous reviewers mention the strap with disfavor due to it being one long piece that pulls through the neck & the sides all at once, making it difficult to keep just where you want it: for me it was a plus. A couple of stitches at the top set the neck strap, then I was able to adjust (gather) the sides of the apron to fit my curves before adding another couple of stitches at the waist end of the ties. This could only be done with ties that run through the length of the sides. 4 stars instead of 5 due to wrinkling (curling of the sides/bottom), to be expected of a cotton product but inconvenient & avoidable all with fabrics these days.

Had to tie a giant bow in front until I cut off a considerable amount of the ties so I could tie it at the back. Hips are 38" and the side of the apron meet at the centre of the back.

This is a lovely apron! It is well made, from surprisingly thick fabric, and the adjustable neck strap/waist strap means it will fit nicely on a wide range of sizes. The two pockets on the front are fully functionally, which is great if you want to use this as a crafting or gardening apron.

The waist and neck strap are actually one continuous piece, so you can make the neck strap shorter by pulling on both ends of the waist strap. I love this because, as a shorter person, I often find neck straps on aprons to be much too long. Now I can adjust the apron to exactly where I want it to be. And, as a someone a little bit on the chubby side, I had no problems tidying this apron. The waist straps are very generous.

I'm so pleased with this purchase. The apron is very attractive and I know it will see lots and lots of use in my kitchen.
