Zackary Richards explores a dark side of women which as a woman I had to focus and remember he does state "There are plenty of normal, decent women out there. This book isn't about them." Sad but true some of the cases he related sounded familiar to me as I have witnessed men "who worked steadily over the last twenty-plus years, helped their wives raise the kids, attended all their plays and sporting events. Mowed the lawn, took out the garbage, fixed the sink, was patient and understanding during that `time of the month' and fully expected to be married for the rest of their life." Be horribly sideswiped by the `other' type of women he describes. "Then out of nowhere and for no discernible reason, the women they loved, honored and cherished for the last two-plus decades can't stand the sight of them and will do anything, (yes, and I mean anything) to get out of the marriage."
If you fit within the guidelines set down on the first page you will find the experience of reading this disturbingly familiar. If you haven't been divorced yet, but your wife appears grimly determined to destroy your marriage for reasons you can't even fathom, read this, heed it, and believe it. You are about to experience events that you believe the love of your life would never, could never engineer.
Zack Richards' insight read like a summation of my own divorce after a 26-year marriage. It's helped me step out of the embarrassment and despair into the realization that I am in the good company of honorable men. When Long Term Marriages Go Horribly Wrong-The Middle-Aged Man's Survival Guide
