The Osmo system from DJI combines the Zenmuse X3 camera/gimbal with a detachable handle, bringing the benefits of stabilized 4K shooting to a handheld form factor. The camera features a 1/2.3" CMOS sensor that enables up to full DCI 4K (4096 x 2160) video recording at 24 or 25p as well as 12MP photo capability. Basic controls for the camera and gimbal are provided on the handle itself, including a joystick for manual pan and tilt. For monitoring and more advanced operation, there is a Wi-Fi link allowing Osmo to be tethered to a mobile device running the DJI GO iOS and Android app. An included smartphone holder effectively turns your smartphone into an on-board monitor. The Wi-Fi features a range of up to 85', so you can operate the camera and gimbal remotely as well.

However, the built-in mic is basically useless. First of all the audio volume is very low. Second, whatever tiny sound it picks up will be drowned out by the gimbal motors and fan noise.
Battery life is one hour even if the Osmo is not actively taking any video because of the gimbal motor power draws so better buy some spare.
The included 16GB Micro SDXC card is only good for 30 mins worth of 4K video (60Mbps bitrate) so better buy bigger card if you plan to record longer videos.
Lastly, reliability is questionable. At least with the new one I bought. The fan no longer turn on (actually I am not sure if it even did). The camera gets really hot (too hot to touch for more than a second with my finger). It also corrupted the PNY 32GB cards I had used without any problem on my other camera. I lost all of my videos due to overheating. Other reviewers on the web also report the camera head gets uncomfortably hot even when the fan is on constantly.
I love the video quality and amazing stable look of the video, but at the end, the audio and overheating problems are just unacceptable. I will be returning mine. I will be the first to buy V2.0 when they fixed these 2 major issues.
