Received Drone today and was not packaged as I expected. It was a box with all the accessories thrown in it along with the box containing the drone. Drone box had slight external damage. When I opened the box I expected to see some protective something securing the drone. It was just laying in there. In watching an "All you need to know " video, I see that the unit come out of the box with propellers not installed. The props were already installed on mine and the protective plastic had already been removed on the rear of the drone. I am not confident this has not been flown before or a demo. Also, I did not realize that this kit did not come with a cigarette lighter charging cord, my bad. This was shown on a video and would be very handy. The Amazon picture shows a 16gb and 32gb sd cards included. Mine only contained the 32gb. It is missing the 16gb card. The bundle showed 3 extra batteries and I got 4. Not sure why the all the discrepencies. I do not have a good feeling about my purchase, but have it charging now and will give it a try and update.

Update: The 32gb card was found already installed in the drone, not in its original package, further increasing my suspicion of pryor use.

Great item; returning for a defunct accessory? Not so much.

The device itself is fantastic, works as advertised, and is a blast to use. I took stars away was due to an exchange issue with the seller. When the package arrived, I plugged in the batteries in to charge. One of the battery's ended up being defective and will not charge on either the muti-charger, or the standalone charger. I engaged Amazon to ask about an exchange process. We engaged the seller, who then stated that they do not hande returns/exchanges. They said Amazon had to handle the return/exchange, but because its from a 3rd Party Seller Amazon cannot facilitate accessory exchanges; its all or nothing. By that time the drone had already had a DJI Protect plan purchased for it, and was registered with the FAA. I shouldn't have to return a $1600+ (after taxes) package to replace a defective $90 battery.

We tried to contact the seller again about it, but they never responded. Others have had no issues or had their issues rectified without a problem. Your mileage may vary.

Anyways, if you are looking for an amazing drone, this is the one for you! Just take my warning into consideration.

Incomplete shipment!

I have purchased the DJI Mavic Pro Platinum Collapsible Quadcopter 5-Battery Ultimate Bundle.
It arrived on time missing 4 batteries out of 5 that I purchased. There were another three plastic part missing.
Contacting the seller, they referred me to: "an unpacking the unit video". There was a warning by Amazon that it may not be a safe link.
My BitDefender, immediately warned me of this link.
There was no need to look at any video. Four batteries, are large and heavy. They were nowhere in the box!!!
The only option I have is to return it and by another drone. Setting me back another week that I really needed to work with it.
Avoid this seller!!!

So I’ve wanted to take this plunge for a while now. I don’t regret it one bit! This drone is awesome. I am a beginner and it is easy to fly and take stunning photos (and video). I originally ordered it from DJI directly and waited for nearly two weeks before switching my order to Amazon fulfilled by SSE photo. Super quick service and a bunch of extras. So glad I finally did this!

The kit has everything you need to get started. I was very happy with the purchase. The drone arrived faster than expected. 1 item was out of stock in the kit, but it was promptly shipped with no issues. All the accessories that came with the drone have been good. I have no complaints and would recommend the kit to anyone wanting to get started with a high quality camera drone. The DJI Mavic Pro Platinum is very quiet, and easily folds up to allow easy storage. I was able to fit the storage case in a hiking backpack, which will make it easy to carry the drone on trips.

You get what you pay for! This is worth it! May seem pricey to Some however it is smooth, reliable, quality! Definitely recommend for a medium or above experienced Flyer. Due to the gimbal the Mavic is slightly more delicate than the predecessors however it makes up for it with superior handling and safety features. I received it sooner than expected and the seller was more than kind and cooperative to answer questions and assist. Two thumbs up!

Provided filters can overload gimbal

Everything about this package is great except for the lens filters. If you put the filters on before flight, they will cause the camera to get stuck when rotating to the right. I attempted to attach the filter after turning the drone on and allowing the gimbal to calibrate as needed but during flight I used the return to home feature. At some point the camera must have turned to the right and now not only does the gimbal not work but the entire drone is overheating. Whatever you do I would recommend to not use the provided filters. I would assume not all filters are big enough to cause this problem but I haven't had the chance to try another set. Ultimate is the brand of the provided filters.

ND filters are too heavy and bulky for the mavic pro series. Installing them at any point will error out the gimbal. upon closer inspection 3 of the filters they have incomplete coating spots on the lens. -1 star

Everything came as ordered in a timely manner and work as advertised. I am very well pleased with everything else besides the issue up top. 4 stars
