EDIT 2/18:So with their new firmware you can now edit Pro settings right on the Pocket itself! Very useful as you don't have to plug in your phone anymore. They also added a Cinema Color Profile which mutes the colors a bit so you can do color correction later in software. I'm bumping it to 5 stars as this is the perfect device for a amateur user like me. Every update just makes the device even better!So it's a new year and I wanted to try my hand at video making. I have no experience at all except from using a phone camera. My first thought was this is the perfect size in my hands. It's also very light and holding it does not fatigue my hands at all. The mechanical gimbal is very cool. It has three modes: Follow, First Person, and Tilt Lock.The touchscreen on the device is very responsive. Easy to use swipes and taps, you can select different features pretty quickly. The phone attachment is very iPhone and USB-C phones only right now. I believe they are working on a update for micro-usb phones. When you plug in the phone you get access to more robust options like manual adjustments to ISO and frame rates. Also when you get your right setting and unplug the phone, the settings stay on. The only hinder is that you have to plug the phone back in to change it again. When you plug in the phone I would recommend using two hands to operate. The only thing that would worry me is the little lightning connector holding up my big iPhone will snap.You can easily plug in to a power bank and film way longer. Right now the battery life is good, getting about 2 hour shooting time. It comes with USB-C wire and the phone connectors for iPhone and USB-C. Also a pretty good hard plastic case that protects your device. There are many accessories coming so stay tuned for those. Also don't worry about the touching the gimbal itself. It's pretty sturdy and it was meant to be manually moved around to adjust the tilt angle. Coming from just a normal dude, this is a pretty awesome device! I have played around with a Go Pro but if you put that thing on a gimbal itself it can get pretty heavy.

Too much fun! Great image quality, stability, and more functions than you can probably use!

I took it to Mexico for a trial run. I was able to get great videos on a moving boat, low-angle moving shots on a sunset beach, and anything I tried worked better than expected. We watched a big show in a large outdoor amphitheater, being able to fix the gimbal elevation at stage level allowed me to freely pan the camera left and right without having to worry about what would be in-frame.

Yes, this is the first time I've used a camera on a gimbal. I'm completely sold.

My only grief is that it is pretty difficult to use many features directly on the camera because it is small. I said difficult, not impossible, don't let that stop you from purchasing! You know that it is small when you buy this little box of magic, so five stars all the way! That said, I had the "DJI OSMO Pocket Part 13 - Expansion Kit" at my door the day after I returned (Better on-camera controller and BlueTooth/wi-fi connection).

Bought mine the day they were released and have absolutely 'no' buyer remorse. There are heaps of reviews on YouTube where you can see the video it can produce (excellent), but I do note all the reviewers agree this camera is a game changer. It really is a 4K 'pocket' camera with broadcast quality video and so easy to take with you. Yes your (expensive?) phone camera can take 4K but not with the smoothness that this Osmo Pocket can achieve. No it's not as robust as a GoPro and you can't use it under water without an enclosure, but it is very well made and I'm blown away with the results (operator errors excepted) The one downside I found was DJI's insistence on 'Activating' their products before you can use them. In the case of the Osmo Pocket this is aggravated by needing a Smart Phone with a 'USB C" connection to plug the Pocket into. Not helpful if you have a phone with a Micro USB connection - however - I found with an 'OTG' adaptor (e.g OnePlus OTG C) I was able to connect to my Galaxy 7 and not only activate it but use the Mimo sotware The LCD screen is big enough for framing reasonably accurately, and the touch interface for controlling modes/settings/reviewing film/photos works well. Switching between video and photo is easy (single short press of the on/off button) and the quality of the 12 Mp photos is as good as any smartphone.. The shooting angle of 80 degree's is wide enough while avoiding fish eye distortion so common in action cameras. Panorama's (180 degree Pano or 3x3 wide angle) are dead easy to take though at the moment can only be viewed on camera or in the Mimo software (IOS/Android) My pick though is exporting these Pano/Wide Angle shots will be high on the developers list of must do's, let alone the keen app writers out there looking for an opportunity. FWIW the Pano photo's are in a separate folder on the Micro SD card and could be stitched together with Photoshop or any similar editor. Accessories are not too expensive, though at the time of review have not reached retailers. Interested to note the overseas Auction sites and other sources have heaps of accessories available now so they are picking the Pocket will be a success. Overall I think the Osmo Pocket is a nice balance between size, performance and price. For Pro 'A' roll use your Osmo Plus or DSLR on a Ronin would probably be better, but then having removable batteries, mic inputs, headphone and video outputs, follow focus adaptors etc goes way outside of what the Pocket is about . For small discreet, Vlogging and B roll filming it can't be beat. For the keen amateur / semi pro it is just so much easier to use than a Smartphone/ Action camera to get that shake free video. For Poppa videoing the grandkids, so dam simple to use.

Great for video stabilization. Photos are grainy. No zoom feature (at least not the way it comes). It wants to follow your face so can get pretty annoying to set the position if you don't necessarily want someone's face in the center. Panoramic photo comes out pretty good and it's cool bc it pans for you, you literally just hold it straight and it's head rotates for you as it takes 4 shots to combine into a panorama. The app is a little limited, or maybe just complicated to use, as I wanted to edit photos and videos myself without necessarily using their suggested auto template, but I've found it annoying to navigate it and gave up so I have yet to edit.
The camera does have slow-mo feature in which the entire video is taken in slow mo. There's a ton to be improved, including an integrated spot to store the phone connector as it is tiny and will surely get lost, but overall I will be keeping this camera as it's handy for good quality, well-stabilized videos. I have yet to explore all the extra accessories for this but from my understanding they will help with a lot of the improvement needs, but I still think some of it should've come standard.

Une petite merveille d'invention, cet OSMO POCKET en ce qui concerne les caméras vidéos portables de qualité. Ça se traine dans la poche, c'est compatible avec mon iPhone. Trop long d'énumérer les qualités et capacités novatrices de cet appareil. Je l'emmène partout depuis un an et demi, même si je ne prévois pas m'en servir. Pas capable de m'en séparer...
Deux défauts que je note. 1-On ne peut pas zoomer, et 2-l'image est parfaite quand il y a beaucoup de lumière. Les endroits sombres ne sont pas fait pour cette caméra.

 Como o nome diz, ela é uma Osmo Pocket, de bolso. E justamente por isso é muito prática e leve de ser carregada! Às vezes saio e coloco ela no bolso mesmo, o que facilita para tirar os takes - especialmente quando estou viajando e gravando vlogs. Ela liga super rápido, a qualidade é ótima e não tenho do que reclamar. Pelo tamanho da câmera, a qualidade em 4k é incrível. Como eu uso ela apenas para vídeo e não para fotos, para mim vale a pena. Para fotos, prefiro minha DSLR da Canon (mas coloquei uma foto dela de exemplo). Tenho alguns pontos:

1. Esse anúncio da Amazon é único, então são vários vendedores que oferecem o mesmo produto pelo mesmo anúncio. Se você der uma atualizada, vai ver que muda quem vende. Dê uma olhada no vendedor que está aparecendo no momento da sua compra e nas avaliações do mesmo.

2. O que vendeu o meu produto me vendeu um produto do Paraguai. Original, mas do Paraguai. Tive um problema no áudio da câmera, entrei em contato com o suporte oficial da DJI no Brasil (que foi muito prestativo e rápido) e descobri que a garantia só é válida para produtos vendidos no Brasil, pelas lojas licenciadas. Precisei pagar para arrumar o áudio (a outra opção era mandar para a garantia no Paraguai, para o suporte oficial da DJI no país, mas eu preferi pagar pois não foi caro e seria muito mais rápido).

3. Em conjunto com outros equipamentos para mim a Osmo Pocket valeu muito mais a pena do que uma GoPro. Comprei uma lente wide angle da Ulanzi, a caixa estanque original da DJI para usar debaixo da água e o suporte para conectar ela no celular enquanto filmo e fotografo pelo app. Com esses equipamentos ficou ótimo!

4. Quem disse aqui nos comentários que ela só grava ate 30 segundos precisa ficar atento, pois é preciso ter um cartão de memória compatível com a filmagem em 4k.

5. Muito simples de usar as funções de timelapse, hyperlapse e slow motion. Mas, em relação ao slow motion e hyperlapse, não gostei muito da qualidade, pois não é em 4l. Mas é possível filmar em 4k a 60fps e depois diminuir a velocidade dos takes manualmente caso queira um slow motion, por exemplo.

Acredito que seja isso. Comprei ela em janeiro de 2021 e faço essa avaliação em agosto. Uso ela desde então e ao longo desses meses concluí que foi um ótimo investimento.

Ich habe den DJI Osmo Pocket nun schon seit über drei Jahren in Gebrauch und bin absolut begeistert von seinen Leistungen. Als jemand, der gerne unterwegs ist und Momente festhalten möchte, ist dieses kleine Gerät ein wahrer Segen.

Zunächst einmal fällt die kompakte Größe des Osmo Pocket auf. Trotz seiner geringen Abmessungen bietet er eine beeindruckende Leistung. Die 3-Achsen Gimbal-Bildstabilisierung sorgt dafür, dass meine Aufnahmen selbst bei Bewegung gestochen scharf und stabil bleiben. Egal, ob ich spazieren gehe, Fahrrad fahre oder mich in einer belebten Menschenmenge befinde, die Aufnahmen sind immer flüssig und professionell.

Die Bildqualität ist ebenfalls bemerkenswert. Der 1/2.3 Zoll Sensor mit einem Sichtfeld von 80° und einer F2.0 Blende ermöglicht es, auch bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen klare und detailreiche Bilder aufzunehmen. Besonders beeindruckend sind die Videoaufnahmen mit bis zu 4K Ultra HD bei 60 fps und 100 Mbit/s. Die Farben sind lebendig, die Details gestochen scharf und die Bewegungen fließend.

Die Bedienung des Osmo Pocket ist intuitiv und benutzerfreundlich. Über den Touchscreen lässt sich das Gerät einfach steuern und dank der Vielzahl von Funktionen und Aufnahmemodi sind der Kreativität keine Grenzen gesetzt. Ob Zeitrafferaufnahmen, Panoramen oder Slow-Motion-Videos, mit dem Osmo Pocket kann ich meiner Kreativität freien Lauf lassen.

Good for Vlogs: This is best in its price point for selfie videos. It auto tracks face even when you wear covid mask. It is good for capturing nature, archetecture/buildings and vlogs.You can lock on a subject and create cinematic video. It is simply a tiny production camera. But you will need a selfie stick as FOV is narrow.
Bad for Motovlogs: It is not suitable for motovlogs and helmet mount. Field of view is so narrow(80°), it will only capture the dashboard. Also this camera focuses nearer object only. So when you do motovlogs, it focuses on bike dashboard and makes road/scenary blurry and bright. No setting can change this. you have an option to use ND filter to overcome this but it will fall off and get lost during heavy wind or when hitting speed breakers. Better to get SJCam and do stabilization while editing if budget is the problem. Not suitable for motovlogs.

Hablando del aparato en sí, DJI es sinónimo a calidad, excelente estabilizador, ojo! No es una cámara deportiva, no compite directo contra Go Pro o cámaras de acción, es un producto sumamente delicado y fue creado con la finalidad de crear tomas más cinematográficas a costo accesible. Excelente cámara y mucho mejor la portabilidad, realmente es pequeño.
