A common thread woven into most political science discussions today includes a strong focus on diversity and it is an integral part of the conversation in this book. It's one that is very important. Reading this book made me feel very aware of global political history and it is written so eloquently that I found each page fascinating. A magnificent read.
Thank you to Richard C. Lyons, Lylea Creative Resources, Inc. and Goodreads for providing me a copy of this book.
While the history of every great democratic government has faced challenges, the author does an excellent job of pointing to the nature of man and shares great, historical examples of how tyrannical men attempted to preserve the power of the few to govern the many. The book is also filled with inspirational stories of men and women who fought hard for the rights of “the many” and chose to concede power, rather than exploit it. This book should be ready by anyone who wants to build a foundation for the values set forth by our founding forefathers.
