Item is truly weatherproof, sturdy, and solid when installed. I bought a model kit for Suburban but I really did not need the cross bars. I installed the cargo box on my 2014 Honda Odyssey. I used my 2014 Honda Odyssey OEM factory roof rack and crossbars. I had to drill a couple of holes on the back of the cargo container which was not a big deal. The mounting hardware fit snugly on my cross bars. The cargo locking mechanism works smoothly. This is a great roof cargo container overall! It withstood 800 miles of roadtrip in California.

Overall this is a great purchase, I gave 4 stars due to the mounting u-bolts were extremely too long. I was able to cut them down and make it work, the lid doesn’t have a rubber seal around it so I put black foam tape where the bottom meets the top and it did awesome on our 12 hour drive each direction.
