I have bought many hundreds, may be even thousands of books and this is the first book I have felt compelled to write a review for. So why this time?
I was introduced to the 3 Principles 2 years ago and my life has been transformed, not least because I no longer take headache medication - something that I had done on a daily basis for over 20 years. What made the difference? I realised my thinking was getting in my way and I was confusing my well-being with being well.

In this outstanding book, Damian Smyth has condensed the 3 Principles into a straightforward, easy to comprehend fabulous read.

Sometimes it is the simplest of things that are the most complex to understand or convey to others. In "Do Nothing", Damian not only takes the reader on a gentle journey through the 3 Principles inside-out understanding and way of living but brings it to life with stories, examples and ancedotes.

People or ideas tend to appear in your life when the time is right - for me that was 2 years ago. With "Do Nothing" perhaps now is your time to find the 3 Principles!

I wholeheartedly recommend this book to you as your starting point with the 3 Principles paradigm!

I've been involved with the Principles for 2 1/2 years and in that time I've read quite a few books. This is the first one that I couldn't put down. Not only that, I enjoyed it more and more the more I read it.
Damian has a relaxed style and in the end I was just flowing with the book. I love the way he applies the Principles to different areas of life - business, relationships, parenting, sport and money.
Damian's description of how life and thinking works is a personal one and all the better for it. He's able to portray his experience in a wonderful illustration of how the Principles are expressed or, as Damian puts it, how life happens 'through us'.
This is a very accessible description of how to stop looking outward for meaning and satisfaction and what it means to 'do nothing'.
I'm delighted to wholeheartedly recommend this book.

Damian's first book about "The 3 Principles" is an absolute breath of fresh air as it explains the secret of life in a ridiculously easy-to-understand way. Damian is a naturally-gifted writer with the ability to take you to enlightenment without you realising it.

There are many great books on this subject; however, although Damian is relatively new to this understanding, this is surely the first book written in plain language (with so many great examples from Damian's own life included) to make sure you really "get it".

People often ask the question "What Is The Secret of Life?". Well now you have the answer. The 3 Principles explain how life "works" - they explain why no situation can cause you to be stressed - it's all about how you "think" about the situation; an "inside-out" approach.

People also claim they have the answer to change your life. You buy the book, attend the workshop, then realise after a short while you've settled back into your old lifestyle. This is because your "thinking" hasn't changed. You'll never change your life permanently unless you absorb this understanding. And if you want to guarantee you'll do it effortlessly, then order Damian's breakthrough book on "The 3 Principles" right now. Don't "think" about it. Just follow your wisdom.

I also recommend you download Damian's Kindle book: "How To Be Stress Free in 24hrs". It's a short "straight to the point" read supporting Damian's main book "Do Nothing" really well.

Thanks Damian for bringing enlightenment to the masses.

I am writing a review, because I am not sure I did before. This book does a good job explaining the three principles. It also makes a good case that everyone's thoughts are unique to them, even if a roomful of people were blasted with the same shot of something. I think that is profound. At first, I argued with Damian, and said that thinking like this was hard on a mental patient who cannot control their thoughts, but then I realized I
CAN have a better experience based on how I perceive something.

I have formerly been overwhelmed with work stress. I couldn't take good advice because I have this tick that makes me get obsessed with the negative. But then I experienced an awakening of sorts, and my attitude changed. I had been sputtering out of control with my negative thoughts. Now I tell people to please let me know when I get that way. Sometimes I start to spiral out of control, and I usually catch myself.

I'm dealing well with difficult people because I know it is not about me. I was ready to read this book, and I hope you are too. At first it may feel odd that you are the one having horrible thoughts in situations where others will have a positive one.
