I purchased these pie playes because of the price. They are not very strong but served as cute substitutes for plates when we hosted a seafood boil for friends. Good enough to give away a dessert in but you'd have to make sure your hand was always firmly underneath for support.
Prefect to bring pies and not worry about the plate being returned. Wish they were a little deeper since my regular recipe would overflow the pan I cut back on the fruit and they worked great.
pie tins are paper thin, took fresh apple pie out of oven, let cool when i transferred pie tin from baking sheet to the covered pie holder, the pie made it to the floor instead, the tin itself crumbled like a piece of tin foil. i will never buy these again
