By placing the new fuel pump in the fuel tank, the diesel fuel acts as a coolant and prevent pump from overheating. All late model Dodge Cummins powered trucks 5.9L & 6.7L now have the fuel pump in the fuel tank.

if you like 6psi of pressure for your VR44, then go for it.
minimum recommended is 4psi, and that's what you will have on start up on a cold morning when the heaters are on. the spec's on the original call for 15 psi by the way....
I do not know what my truck is running at WOT, but it's sure to be less then my big 6 sitting idling in the parking lot, at 14.2 volts. (heaters off)
I'm looking for other options as I don't want to have to replace the VR44 on my dime.
