Better than the Sleekform chairs. This chair has the tilted seat which you need to truly benefit from a kneeling style chair. It is also adjustable both on the seat height on the knee height making it highly customizable for people short and tall. I have chronic hip and lower back pain despite being young and healthy and this has saved me when I need to sit and work at the computer. I have a standing desk with a balance board as well but you can't stand all day or for some kinds of work, so this chair has been great.

WARNING: Not Intended for Office Use!

I bought this chair based on the large number of positive reviews. Now, to be fair, my problem with the chair is likely not do to this specific make or model, but I feel a warning to anyone looking to replace their current office chair with one of these is warranted, based on my painful (both literally and figuratively) experience.
I work at a desk job where, on most days, I am sitting in front of a computer for about 8-1/2 hours a day. I have some posture problems and back pain that I was hopeful a kneeling chair would help with. I used the chair for a total of 3 days: the Monday after I received the chair, and the following Thursday and Friday. I noticed, particularly on Friday, a gradually increasing amount of discomfort in my knees, particularly my right knee. When I got home I discovered blisters which still have not healed, after 6 days! Clearly kneeling chairs are fine if you spend only an hour or so at a time in the chair with constant breaks (or if you don’t weigh very much). Frankly I can’t imagine why anyone who sits so rarely or little would care, especially enought to pay over $100 for a chair, so I can’t even imagine who these are good for (small spoiled children, I suppose).
All-in-all it was a complete waste of money, so buyer be warned: I would recommend you try one of these before buying (and not just sitting down on it for a few seconds - borrow or rent one and use it for at least 2 days).

Nice sturdy chair!

I had been thinking of getting a kneeling chair for some time, and I was a bit overwhelmed in my research. There seemed to be so many available that looked more or less the same. I went with this one because of its rating, for its thick pads, and its weight rating. (I am about 240 lbs, and many of the chairs were rated for just 220.)

Chair was relatively simple to put together. (At first I thought that the instructions were missing, but they were inside the bag with one of the cushions.) I had to use a rubber mallet to get one of the pins through its hole, but other than that no problem.

Chair is very sturdy. Casters (the component that most folks complain about) are OK...standard issue furniture casters. I appreciate the thicker pads. I am new to this kneeling chair business, so I am still getting used to the feel; my knees sometimes hurt a bit, but that is usually alleviated by re-positioning, to find the "sweet spot."

Bought this for my work office, and I'm thinking about getting another for home. Recommended.

Bought this for my husband to use at work. He has a standing desk but also sits about 3 hours a day. He has had 5 back surgeries and sitting at a desk causes a lot of pain. He loves this chair! He has only been using it one week but his back is feeling better and as a bonus he says he can feel it working his core a little. The chair has nice thick padding and it was easy to put together. I put it together by myself.

Sitting at this chair as I write this review. I love it! The chair is perfect for work and slides easily under my desk when not in use. There is significantly less pressure on my lower back when kneeling than when sitting in a conventional office chair. The padding for the knees/shins is thick enough to allow me to sit for about two hours before my shins begin to get a little sore, but honestly I enjoy that. It's a great reminder to get up and walk around every few hours, even when in the heat of the work day.

Sturdy craftsmanship. Arrived promptly and in excellent condition. Would definitely recommend.

I love this chair! It's sooooo comfortable, and it feels very sturdy. It was easy to assemble (except for a screw that had melted metal at the tip so it was hard to get it all the way in). I'm very happy with my purchase.

The knee rest cushion will definitely wear out because it's faux leather, so my suggestion is to cover it with a thick but soft fabric. Otherwise, GREAT design!

Investigue mucho sobre este producto antes de comprarlo y pude ver muchos comentarios positivos y negativos por lo que decidí hacer mi comentario después de meses de uso.
La primera media hora ciertamente me ayudó a mejorar la postura pero al poco tiempo después me cansó, he de aclarar que soy una persona poco activa por lo que resulta comprensible pues la posición de cierta manera hace que los muslos superiores a la rodilla soporten el peso y bueno, no me salen ni las sentadillas.
La primer y segunda semana fue de acostumbrarme al producto, encontrar una la altura a mi gusto lo cual me llevó varios intentos pero pude darme cuenta que los comentarios negativos que leí posiblemente resultaron de una postura incorrecta al sentarse, después de una semana pude encontrar mi posición favorable para la silla y realmente me ayudó a mejorar mi postura y se me quitaron los dolores de espalda baja que antes padecía. Sí, es cierto que aparecen moretones entre el pie y la rodilla pero esto pasa únicamente si se sientan mal, lo digo por experiencia. Deben usar todo el cojín de abajo para sostener su cuerto lo que hará que el peso se distribuya correctamente, en el caso de que se sienten usando solo una pequeña parte genera moretones. Al principio es extraño o al menos lo fue para mi porque no estoy / estamos acostumbrados a esa postura pero hay que confiar en la silla.
A mi gusto es necesario estirarse cuando más cada 3 o 4 horas para relajar un poco los músculos pero la silla cumple lo prometido.
Algo importante que debo añadir es que la altura del escritorio es muy importante ya que si es muy bajo aún con la silla hará que te encorves y no mejore tu postura.
Los cojines son gruesos y cómodos, no sentí el metal en ningún momento aunque yo peso 52 kg. También puedo decir que es muy estable y en ningún momento la he sentido insegura. Con respecto a los materiales todos se sienten de buena calidad a excepción de las llantas que al ser 4 limita un poco la movilidad que con las otras sillas pero te acostumbras.

Espero que mi comentario les sirva a para decidir si comprarla o no.

Much better than expected

I wanted to write a thorough review of this, because I was skeptical about it. I have tried various types of seating arrangements in the past, but with the Covid-19 thing, I am sitting much more for work in a day than I ever was before, and I have had noticeable tingling in my legs after awhile with conventional chairs.

I am good at assembling things and I found this very easy. Well laid out and uncomplicated. Took me about 30 minutes. Just note that there are THREE sizes of screws. I first used the middle holes (for height) but ended up redoing it using the lowest setting. I sit at a conventional height desk but use a keyboard tray, so I type at the level of a well designed computer desk. The lowest chair setting is still higher than a conventional chair but not so high that it is uncomfortable or odd, and still well within the realm of good carpal tunnel prevention guidelines. I'm 5'6", 155 pounds as a point of reference for this review. With those measures, I have not had any concern about the sturdiness of the chair, but maybe worth noting that the weakest link might be the wheels, although personally I have had no problems with them at all.

My first online meeting with this chair was 2.5 hours long. I've since had another long video-conference meeting. A good thing about this chair is that once I started getting uncomfortable in the standard sitting position I could easy shift my legs so that one or the other was extended, or a foot was propped up on the knee rest section. This was much easier for me to do than with a conventional chair, on which I'd tried sitting cross legged or one leg up to make a shift. I think the cushion design is well balanced between being firm but also soft, which to me speaks to good quality materials. Other chairs I've seen were too thin and it made a big difference over the long term comfort, it seems. I can't, of course, speak to if the cushion will wear out over time.

I was concerned about my back wanting to slouch without a backrest, but in fact, with the seat angled the way it is, it more or less naturally keeps my back straight, which I was pleasantly surprised with. I have always been a bit of a sloucher and have never done well with backless chairs (such as benches), so this worked for me. I will not say this is a perfect solution to sitting for long periods, only because the only real perfect solution is to NOT SIT FOR LONG PERIODS! When that is not an option because of work settings, I definitely would recommend and buy this chair again. The fact that I wanted to mention it in the middle of my meeting is, to me, a case in point.

I hope you find this review helpful. I feel this chair is worth it, well designed, and definitely good for my health overall. It does not substitute taking breaks and stretches, but it's, in my opinion, an excellent solution for an increasingly sitting culture we live in. I am considering getting one for my son and replacing his conventional chair, which he uses an awful lot for his own online life.

Finally able to sit down at a table with acute sciatica!

I don't write many reviews but I feel compelled to with this product because it is brilliant!
I have recently spent 4 months trying to manage agonising sciatic pain right down one thigh, calf and leg, with aching, numbness, pins and needles and all the horrible symptoms one gets caused by a pro-lapsed S1/L5 disc and the cocktail of painkillers one uses to eleviate it.I had not sat down for over 3 months due to the sciatic pain
I spent most of my time on the floor on my front propping myself up with 2 pillows under my chest. I worked on my laptop there and ate uncomfortably constantly getting indigestion and feeling uncomfortable.
In desperation I tried buying a special foam cushion and then a a prop-up leaning stool both of which did not help me as they were probably for people with less severe sciatica. Then, after a bit of research I came across this kneeling chair.
Although luckily I am finally improving now this kneeling chair took me back up to the land of the living!
It was easily assembled (I managed to do it laying down and rolling around!) and I as soon as it was put together I was finally able to sit at a table like everyone else and be normal again and eat proper meals! I am 5ft 11in and it fits perfectly for me but is adjustable not only in the assembly but also with an adjustment bar when it is in all in place.
I started off with just a few minutes a day - for breakfast or a coffee at a table and have since been able to go to eat a whole meal even in restaurants. The foam is thick and very spongyso it is possible to perch for a good couple of hours if you want comfortably - you can easily adjust how you sit to adjust how much weight you put on your knees versus your behind depending on how bad your sciatica is.
It has been a great buy - hopefully I wont need it much once I am better but it is a life saver for someone like me who was fed up laying on the floor!
It doesn't fold up but is not too heavy and can easily be transported on a car back seat or in a car boot.
The only slightly negative point is that the coverings are vinyl - leather would make it perfect but slightly sweaty knees is a very small price to pay for the wonderful relief that this product has given me!
If you have sciatica and cannot sit down I recommend buying one of these!!

This design is really comfortable and relieving for the back once you get used to it. However, the make of this particular item is poor - the metal bar which holds the seat broke into two after a week of use ( giving me quite a shock as I landed on the floor). I am petite so can’t even blame weight overload. Will be returning this and looking to buy a similar design from another brand
