Basics: HEA; no cliffhanger, though the Gentry boys' story arc obviously continues through at least two other books; no cheating; possessive alpha male; tough guy hero with a tragic past; heroine in need of some rescuing through she is no damsel in distress; hot, steamy sex; mild erotica with "f" and "p words; and dual POV.

**spoilers**
Bad boy triplet Cord Gentry escaped small town Emblem, Arizona (think Florence, AZ) with his two brothers, leaving behind a life of poverty, violence, and tragedy to live in college town Tempe, Arizona (Arizona State University) where the brothers do underground fighting and anything else to survive. They are all amazing fighters, especially Cord, but they hate it and he knows that sooner or later it's going to get them killed. Then a blast from the past, Saylor McCann appears in Cord's life, a beaten mess, thanks to a rich, violent ex-boyfriend. Saylor is seeking refuge with her cousin Brayden who has become friends with Cord (since they are all from the same town).

Saylor and Cord have a horrible history that began when they were only 16 years old and he accepted a bet to take her virginity that resulted in Saylor's mortification and a vow to hate Cord Gentry until the day she died. Fortunately, the Cord that Saylor meets now is not the same arrogant, foolish sexy teenager she grew up with. This time around, Cord allows Saylor to see him for who is really is--a man who loves his brothers intensely, who is sorry he hurt her, and who quickly realizes his feelings for Saylor are more intense than anything he's ever felt before. After their relationship grows and Cord takes down the ex-boyfriend who beat and raped Saylor, they fall in love (after some major fall into lust).

I really enjoyed Draw.

I love this book beyond words. I discovered this author by chance because of my love of Motorcycle Club romances. I read a couple of books and they were good so I tagged the author as one to pick up a book from. I got the chance to read Draw which is NOT an MC book so I was worried, because I very seldom branch out at the moment and my TBR pile is sky high. This book however is one of the best books I have read in a very long time. It sucks you from the beginning and before you know it the book is almost over and you're begging for it not to end. I fell in love with Cord and he made me smile, laugh and want to cry and all in a very good way. More importantly I fell in love with Sweet Say. I hardly ever care about the heroine, very few times in a book do they call to me as much as the male lead. Say did that from the beginning. I can't stress how much I love this book. You really have to give it a try. I can't wait for another edition of the Gentry Brothers, and at this point Cora Brent has gone from an author I'll look up to see what she has new to an Author I will anxiously await new releases from. You won't regret your purchase with this one.

The Gentry boys. Creed, Cord and Chase are triplets, they've always been wild and dangerous. With a violent father and drug addict mother they've had to fight to survive. Most people in the small town of Emblem avoided them, except for the girls, even Saylor who was considered a geek. When Cordero 'Cord' Gentry took an interest in her little did she know the consequences.

Present day and Saylor is running from her abusive boyfriend Devlin, her destination her cousin Brayden, he's always been her go to guy. Little does she know that she's about to come face to face with the Gentry boys again, in particular Cord.

I've read some of this authors books before and while I liked them, this is by far her best work IMO. This is more a character driven story, there is some action in the plot but basically this is a love story between two people who on paper at least are as different as chalk and cheese, but it worked for me. I'm looking forward to the next book, I hope the wait won't be long.

This was a very gritty, unputdownable story that had me hooked from start to finish. It is not an easy read and it made me laugh, cry and get angry but ultimately it made me feel. There are a number of reviews already so you know it's an NA and the first book in a series about the Gentry triplets. Bad boys with a rough background trying to make something of their lives.

In this the H had taken the h's virginity as part of a bet with his brothers. He deceived her, humiliated her and then his brother told everyone about it. I can't imagine a worst 'first time' for a girl. Years later these 2 meet up again and I'm at a loss to describe how it all happens but they do end up in a very real relationship. There's loads of sex and bad language and big chunks of reality. I will say that the H does let the h down and it made me mad. I also don't think he apologised properly for what he'd done to her as a teenager. In fact his other brother apologises better to her. In the end though I suppose it is part of a very good story with imperfect characters.

I'm hooked and can't wait for the next one

I wanted to give this book more than three stars, because when I read a book quickly, it generally means that it was so good that I couldn't put it down. While I flew through Draw, it was due more to it being a light read, not necessarily a page turner. The storyline was interesting enough, but I never felt like I really got to know the characters. With their backgrounds, they should have each been rich and deep, but the writer never really made me feel like I could get into them. The relationship between Saylor and Cord should have been more deep and intense, but instead I felt like they quickly resolved their issues from the past, started an intimate relationship, fell in love, and that was that. I can see where the next books will go as we get to know Cord's brothers, and the potential is there for them to be really good. I'm not certain whether I will give them a try or not.
