I bought this Nintendo DS case after she ran out of room in her Hori Nintendo Game Card Case for 16 cards. This case is similar, but it's rectangular and holds more games. There's one slot that has an insert to hold an SD card. That insert can be moved to a different slot or it can be removed altogether, if one needs more room for games. The "pages" are removable, although we haven't had any need for that.
The games pop in quickly and they stay in until we take them out. No fear of them falling out accidentally, but they aren't difficult to remove, either. On each slot, one side of the game card is exposed. Pry them from that side and they come out with ease, at least they do for us.
Overall, this case is a good size and great for protecting the games and keeping them all in one place.

This case at first glance is great. fits 23 games + a slot for an SD Card. Its compact and acts as a great storage for your DS Games.
No problems putting the games into the case. BUT getting them out is another matter. Not impossible but... not easy. Sure you can use force but its hard enough that I sometimes worry that too much force will crack a game cartridge. And yes I know that the cartridge is not exactly fragile but, the force needed to pry the games out is not insignificant.
I highly recommend using this for storage only and having a different case for games you are frequently playing and changing cos having to do this on a frequent basis is not fun.

I have owned two of these and one of the 16-game cases for almost two years. I travel with them, open and close them repeatedly, drop them on rare occasions, and move the games around quite often. The cases have some minor, superficial scratches on the outside and the white text has mostly rubbed off, but they are in fine condition besides that.
The games ARE a bit hard to get out most of the time, but I solve that by packing an art supply popsicle stick inside the case to leverage the games out. Honestly, I prefer a fit that is a little too tight to a fit that is a little too loose, so this isn't too big of a deal to me.
I trust this brand so much that I am buying Hori cases for my 3DS games.

I was a little worried when i read the other reviews that said they were worried that the game cartridges were going to break because of the tight fit. I dont fully agree because the cartridges are made extremely heavy duty and would only break of you tried to smash them with a hammer. I really liked that it was a snug fit because i was certain that the games were safely stored. I have a 6 and a 7 year old boys, and sure for the first 5 times they each swapped games it was done with effort but once used to it, they were able to remove them with relative ease. I think this is a great product the case it self is also very sturdy and has withstood being dropped on the ground often and as i said it gives me great peace of mind that the games are very safely stored.

I purchased two of these DS Video Game Card Cases. It's listed as black, but is actually more of a smokey grey, see through, color. I like them, they are great if you have a lot of DS video games that you like to keep in one place (or two places). They provide protective storage for 24 DS Video Games. It is probably too large to put in most of the smaller Nintendo DS Lite or DSi cases, but fits in my Nintendo DSi XL Case just fine. The Amazon pricing and service was excellent.

I bought this for my 7 year old. We have one like this but it houses 14 cards - with no problems at all removing the cards. We needed an additional case so I wanted this one that holds 24. I wish I would have believed the reviews saying how hard the games go in and out. Well, they go in easy, they don't come out easy at all. My 7 year old had no chance getting them out himself. I had to use a tip of a knife to pry them out and I have good fingernails. One good thing, they won't fall out!

I have no issues with mine. It works just fine. It's easy enough to get the games in and out and it's super easy to find the game you are looking for. I feel more confident throwing this in my purse without worrying things will get broken or lost. It's not too big and bulky. I brought two in black. :)

Great DS game holder. Small yet hold MANY games. More game than we may ever buy. Get rids of a bunch of bulk and wasted space from the packaging. Study and holds up well.

A great storage box for DS games.

For years I've been carrying around all my DS games, along with my GBA games, in a very old GameBoy Advance carry case, designed for carrying the GBA with just a few of those games. It has been quite inconvenient for a while as it took up a lot of space, plus I realised I didnt need to carry around my GBA games anymore really, as I rarely played them, so decided it was time to get something to carry my 20ish (at the time) DS game cartridges.
This one was ideal. It's compact and can easily carry 24 game cartridges securely and protect them from most harm. It's easy for taking games on holiday or even just carrying them around in a handbag or something, and will protect them if dropped or something as the plastic case is quite sturdy. I doubt it would survive from any strenuous breakages or really high drops (then again, most stuff wouldn't), and I am unsure if it would prevent water from seeping it, so those are things that you might need to take into account. However, I use mine to store my DS game cartridges and take them with me when necessary, and as long as you are sensible about what you do with it it will protect your game cartridges and make it easier to transport them. Lightweight and sturdy.

Great product - not easy for young children
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on April 2, 2011Verified Purchase
Essentially this product does what it say on the tin and it's compact and is a great way to store games - particularly when travelling. One of the other reviews mentioned that it was not easy for younger children to get the games out and I'd agree with this. My 5yr old struggles but my 7yr old is fine with it. The 5yr old got the hang of it in the end anyway so I'm not sure it's such a big issue. One side effect of this though is that they can't keep pulling the games out and losing them under the car seats or something :)
Overall though - very pleased and I recommend it to anyone traveling with a DS and a lot of games.

tricky for little fingers

This case makes it easy to flip through your collection easily, though the kids find it difficult to clip the game cards in and out. It hasn't been a problem though as I am now resident keeper of the game cards after becoming fed up with them being lost, ending up under the sofa, behind cushions etc. If you are new to the DS and wondering which size case to get, I would recommend going for the largest size (we are on our third) as they end up filling them quickly.
