I love these sausages, and have ordered several bags and enjoyed them. My most recent order, however arrived completely spoiled and inedible. The previous bag had a different texture than normal which I attributed to the time it spent in the mailbox. This bag I made sure to bring in as soon as I got notification of delivery and every piece appears to be covered with mold, or some suspicious film, I'm not opening it to investigate. It didn't photograph well but that is not condensation.

I had eaten one, didn't realize...but the next time I went into the bag to get one, it was FULL of mold. They were not expired, but they were a mess. I order Dukes all the time and never had an issue, but this one was REALLY amazingly bad. Probably a shipper/supply issue, not the Dukes itself. Normally I love Dukes...they are my "go to" and I just wanted to try a new flavor...but having a lot of regret with this one. Won't be buying this one again.

These little dried sausages have the right amount of heat. Doesn't taste like you have ate a stick of lard and doesn't burn
your lips off. Most of these type snacks are overly spiced to cover the 90% lard stick they call dried pork. This one is NOT like
that. It is lean dried pork without the chemicals and spiced just right. This product is a little high. However, I assume that its
takes a lot of work and is made with quality ingredients, and made with care.

So, on that aspect I guess they are worth the money, if you enjoy this sort of snack. I have found NO fault with this product...

These are great little sausages. I fly planes for a living. The food options in airports leaves allot to be desired. If there is a good restaurant, I don't have the time to eat there. Life is "land, grab some grub, takeoff, eat when at cruising altitude." I try to stick to a low-carb, paleo-ish diet. These sausages are great. I can muck down a couple of these to get me over a hunger hump when working, then grab some real food when I get to the hotel.
These are great tasting too ...... but I am from New Mexico, so I am admittedly biased for green chile. The non-green chile ones are great too.

I miss my hatch green chiles, and these have great flavor. I bought the original Duke's sausages and they were great, then I tried the two pack of hatch sausages with the cheese crisps and was sold. So, when I saw this big bag I had to get it; however... these sausages ooze grease and oil. I don't know if they are old or what's going on, but they just aren't as tasty. I ended up slicing them into thin discs and adding them to a rice for a twist on "spanish rice".
