My main suggestion would be to make sure you get the right size, my guess is if its too small it may not work as well. Take a minute to measure the base of your legs and get the correct size for your couch.
The only thing I'm noticing is that one of the pads appears to be coming apart in the middle. But it's too soon to say if this is an issue, and even if it is, I don't care. If furniture moving around is driving you crazy, then buy these.
The only downside is that after about a year, when I had to move the futon, the pads were stuck to the floor; peeling them up left a quarter-sized patch of fuzzy/sticky residue that was easily scraped up without leaving any marks.
P.S. Because they're made of thick felt-like material, they look like they also will stabilize furniture that doesn't sit perfectly flat because of uneven floors, etc. But our futon didn't have that problem to start with.
I have hardwood floors, and it is best not to use synthetic materials as they can damage the finish. I was searching for something to put down on the floor for my bed and my couch. These are perfect! Pure rubber surface, keeps things in place, won't damage hardwood floors. I don't need anything else.
My only complaint is the fiber fill in-between the rubber. I wish they'd made it thinner for use in other applications.
