This cable is cheap, which is a pro AND a con. It's not super well made and the screw in's are pretty short, which everyone knows is frustrating.

However, there is a spot for a screwdriver, it's just not convenient, especially if you're plugged it into a tight spot.

One side came with 4 pins bent, so it wouldn't plug in. I straightened them and then the cable worked fine.

There's not too much to say about this cable. It's a nice sturdy cable that feels like it came from a quality maker. It has a nice fit in the connection, and has a good price. Great picture quality and fast response time compared to old VGA (I have dual monitors and my DVI one updates an instant faster than my VGA one). I'd definitely recommend this product.

I thought I was buying a "New" DVI cord, however it is clear that it has been used before. There are markings all over the cord and connector heads. It looks like they just coiled up the cord, put covers over the connectors and put it in a bag.

The product works fine, for now. However, I could have gotten a used cord from work for free.

I just looked, it was sold by "TechUsed." So be aware, if you are assuming it will be new, make sure "TechUsed" is not the seller. Disappointed.

The DVI cable works great. I bought a new 24" 1080p monitor. It has a VGA and DVI port. I hooked the monitor up to my Mac with VGA and it refused to display in 1080p, so I bought this cable and it worked as expected. I was wanting a cheap cable that would do the job and this one worked great!

They are DVI cables and they (mostly) work for what I need. I had expected a set of 5 clean, brand new, identical cables to use with a new KVM. These certainly do not look "new." They are exactly what I would expect to get from my IT department if I asked for 5 DVI cables. That is, the first 5 mismatched, dirty cables lying on a pile of random DVI cables where you stack new cables, old cables, and filthy cables you found on the floor. I certainly would have liked new, clean cables, but they seem to work, so they get 3 stars. One side note: I may be overly harsh as it took an extra two days and unpacking of all the cables I'd run to discover one of these non-matching cables was juuuuuuuust too big to completely seat in the back of the KVM.
TL;DR: Dirty, mismatched, but functional.

I was running an original VGA cable with my 2005 gateway PC and gateway flat panel.

Installed a Safire hd5450 card last year (about 15 bucks after rebates) which significantly improved the video quality and memory performance of the PC. The Safire had a dvi connector in addition to the VGA connector. I tried the dvi as an experiment and found that the clarity was noticeably better.

Trying it on my second PC, the picture improved significantly (vs VGA) as well which prompted me to buy a second dvi cable.

I'll never use VGA cable again!

I purchased to monitor cables, this one which is 6 ft.and the VGA cable adapter; attempting to hook up two screens. The 15 FT is with the DP Adapter is perfect; I had to really stretch 6ft monitor cable making it really a tight fit. I even measured it and it is 6 FT, exactly what I purchased. Another lesson learned order nothing shorter than 15 FT. It works and that is the ticket.

If you're reading this then you're probably wondering if this cable is actual quality. Well, It actually is, (surprising right!) I'm only kidding ;) I'm talking about the price point, a lot of these cables serve the same purpose yet they are double even triple the price of this one but this one works just like any other, I'm very satisfied.
