UPDATE - These don't work for all filament spools. They will work for anything narrower than 2.5 inches by 8 inches around (6.5cm X 20cm)
These seem to work pretty well for filament spools. That one is much more expensive considering you get one of those containers and for this item you get 4 containers. Mine came with one broken container so other reviewers are correct about the packaging. And I also had a lot of trouble separating them since they were nested to fit inside the box. Otherwise, I think they'll do the job. We will see.
