UPDATE: Dymo has started requiring using their EXTREMELY expensive labels to print postage in order to continue to use their Free Account (You have to enter an activation code (Heil Hitler!) to use their free account). This means you have to buy their rolls of 200 stamp labels for $15.25 instead of the Mesa compatible roll of 700 for $4.25. At that price point, you might as well have a postage meter. Still good as a label printer, but don't need all the postage stuff, given the highway robbery taking place on the postage labels. Buyer's Remorse has set in.
Two Important Tips: 1) When installing a new roll of labels, there will be some sticky residue left from the glue put there to keep the spool from unraveling. Peel off the label with the sticky stuff on it before feeding it through your printer to prevent the residue getting on the paper feed roller. If the glue gets on the roller, it is likely to cause paper jams. 2) This printer uses thermal paper, not ink.Read more ›
