I told them the Internet wanted to know their opinions. Here are their responses:
Terra says: "It was cool. And amazing. My favorite part was when he told the kid he owns the entire outer space."
Jada says: "I liked it. My favorite part was when they flied into space."
They both say they would recommend the book.
I enjoyed it as well. It's a kid's version of his theme about helping others and let the universe take care of you.
My son hates to read, but complimented "My Daddy Owns All of Outer Space," saying, "I liked the book. It was funny and it's good for kids and story time." NYT book reviewer he's not, but to get him near a book is a pretty big thing. I look forward to the rest of this series.
I love that the book talks about being proud of your parents no matter what their job might be, because at the end of the day helping others is what is most important. Many parents might not have flashy jobs or they might have jobs that embarrass their children but the important thing is for children to know that what their parents do in their work most importantly benefits and helps other people.
