Design & Collection: Striped design may seem simple but it is not easy to accomplish timeless classic through plain color combination. Through numerous tests, Dahlia has created this classic yet versatile knitted scarf collection for men. It is super easy to match with clothes and suited for all purpose from casual to formal wear. It's not only a must-have men's scarf but also makes a great holiday gift for your friends and loved ones.
Material: Dahlia uses 100% fine 36S acrylic, which is an inexpensive alternative to cashmere with similar warmth and softness while average acrylic is a synthetic substitute to wool. 36S refer to yarn count. The higher the yarn count, the finer the fiber.

My only complaint, which isn't really a complaint because the scarf is perfect for what it is, is that it's a bit thinner than I had hoped. That being said, it's also double wide. So when you fold it hotdog-style (long-ways) it becomes about as thick as my other winter scarfs. It also allows for more flexibility in covering your neck, because you can spread out the material to cover holes in your coat.
Overall this is a great utilitarian scarf. I've been wearing it in Fargo, and with 10F and -10F wind chill it's been great. I'm sure it'll work fine for lower temperatures too (although for the deep winter I may consider getting something more heavy).
What is so great is getting a new scarf and then not having but maybe one or two days to wear it since the cold weather has disappeared this year. I had no beef with Grandpa Winter this year since unseasonably warm weather during my favorite season is irritatingly apparent. I am one of the few people who really enjoy cold weather and in Virginia the only time you get it is in Winter. It does look very nice and it's length is great so it is enough to fold over and tie or anything you want to do with it. It is very warm but the one thing I don't like is the ends but its not really a big deal since you can clearly see it in the picture. The price is good and I am very happy with this purchase and I'll hang on to it for my next battle.
If you're unfamiliar with acrylic as a fabric this scarf keeps you warm without being stuffy. I haven't washed it yet but If it's like other acrylics it should keep it's color very well. (I once had a bottle of bleach spill on an acrylic beanie for a few hours and the hat was unaffected.)
The tag is cheap and barely stichted on, I immediately took it off with a seam ripper. It's made in China but doesn't have that Chinese smell that a lot of apparel seems to have. I gave it a spritz of Febreze anyways, out of habit and since I wouldn't be washing it prior to wearing.
One minor fault in the weave, but not enough to be noticeable or to warrant a return.
