“Using essential oils, Daily Aromatherapy takes us on a journey that helps us connect more intimately to nature, the seasons of the year, and the emotional seasons within us. There is no better way to be uplifted—to experience joy and hope, clarity and inspiration—than sitting down with a daily, aromatic exercise that fully engages our body, mind, heart, and spirit.”
—Christel Lukoff, PhD, psychotherapist and hospice social worker
“In this creative and accessible resource, Joni Keim and Ruah Bull, who have worked in the healing arts for years, present 13 different oils for each season of the year — spring as a time for optimism and hope, summer as a time for manifestation and full expression, autumn as a time to reflect on your life and assess the health and well-being of your body, heart, mind, and spirit, and winter as a time to feel comfortable, safe and secure.”

While this will be a fit for many in the industry it was NOT for me. I am a christian as well however I rely on the bible and my relationship with God for my spiritual food not a book on aromatherapy weaving in their version of spirituality. Quite disappointing.
I was so excited at the idea of reading about seasons in life and aromatherapy only to find this drenched with information about angelic forces...this REALLY should be mentioned in the description of the book so that people who are not interested in this type of information can bypass the book. It was a total waste of money it am out of the country and not able to send it back so i just threw it away.
A few items to note:
(1) If you want to do the weekly program, you will have to buy 52 oils. I just happen to have a large supply of oils so this wasn't an issue for me. If you want to start small, the author gives you some other options. My suggestion would be to read the Table of Contents, look at what each oil can do, and buy those you feel would be the most beneficial to you. My aromatherapy mentor said that we are "drawn to the oils we need" and I believe that.
(2) Buying oils can be tricky - especially if you know nothing about them. Most health food/natural stores carry lower quality oils. These store brands are not bad - just not the best oils you can buy. If you are serious about this and want top quality oils, send me an email via my profile and I will send you a list of the brands I use. However, if you just want to dabble with a few oils, then these store brands are fine.
(3) The focus of this book is more on emotional and spiritual benefits than physical. So, if you're wanting to know about all aspects of an oil, this probably isn't the book for you.
This book is a great and easy starter for someone who wants to experience the power of essential oils without diving into it completely.
