Way better than I expected

I didn't think it was a gimmick product or anything like that, but I am still amazed at 2 things: The first is how much hair actually comes out and how it does it. The second is how much my dog liked it. In the picture of me brushing him, you can see his eyes half closed in pleasure looking at me as I'm brushing his rump.
What I really liked was how the brush actually works like a brush, but really rips that old undercoat out of there. The blades fill with undercoat very quickly until you've really stripped the area. I never noticed until I really got into his hair how matted and tangled it really gets when he's blowing his coat. The pile of fur next to him is as substantial as any wig in feeling and weight. I bet he feels much better missing all that mess under there. I'll definitely keep brushing to get the spots I missed, but I really think his blown coat is mostly out at this point. Very very happy with the product.

I have 2 13yr old female tabbies & 1 11yr old male siamese cat. I do a lot of brushing. The siamese shreds like crazy year round. He's crazy & has the attention span of a gnat...its tough to get him to sit still for brushing, that is until this brush arrived. He loves it! Upon arrival I immediately started brushing him. Over the yrs I've used many different deshedding tools. NONE WORKS AS WELL AS THIS ONE!
Love the 4 inch wide blade . You can cover a wide area quickly. The tool goes through the fur extremely smoothly, apparently no pulling & no irritating of the skin. He liked it so much he plopped over on his side & stretched out. He let me brush his tail & the backside of his legs, which he usually hates. He even let me do his tummy (always been a no-no in the past). He was so comfortable I had to pick him up & roll him over to do the other side! The picture shows what came off him in less than 5 minutes. I brushed him again the next day & got that much again. The girls love the brush also. This brush works so quickly I'm sure I will use it more often than I normally would. NO stress for any of us! Thanks DakPets for the great tool at such a reasonable price. Love the fact replacement blades are available. Will never use anything else! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Holy pupperoni! The amount of fur that I brush off my 2.5 year old Malinois/Shepherd mix is ridiculous.

She's very patient when I do it, but doesn't seem to love it. I hold the area above where I'm brushing and I try to be as gentle as possible. Her coat is already so beautiful and soft, but I can see a little volume decrease and she feels just that much softer after I brush her with this. It works particularly well for the massive amount of fuzz she has around her backside.

All in all, very happy with this brush and hope it saves us a few extra trips to the groomer.

I have been using this brush for a little over a month now. I love it! I would recommend.

I used it on three different types of animal hair.

1) Shih Tzu / Rat Terrier Mix - Medium Length hair, mats easily.
I first used this on my Shih Tzu Rat Terrier Mix(see pic with big green toy). He is more Shih Tzu than Rat Terrier. He has medium length hair that mats very easily. He didn't mind the brushing at all. I didn't hit any matted spots. It pulled quite a bit of hair in just a few brush strokes.

2) Shih Tzu / Rat Terrier Mix (see pic of her eating a treat)- Short(ish) Wirery hair
I tried the older Shih Tzu / Rat Terrier Mix dog who has hair closer to a rat terrier. She really enjoyed being brushed. The brush did not pull off quite as much hair, but this dog sheds much less than the other.

3) Domestic Short Hair Cat
I bought this mainly for my cat who sheds like crazy. I am very impressed by the amount of hair i pull off of him. 2 or 3 brush strokes and I already need to clean off the brush. For the most part my cat doesn't seem to mind being brushed with this. He is a typical cat so it is sometimes difficult to brush him. When I pet him after he is done being brushed I notice an immediate difference in his hair. It feels softer. The brush does not quite pick up everything. Sometimes when I am brushing him I notice the hair just being pushed around. Since I am brushing him front to back I just run my hand over the strays and add it to the pile. You will end up with a big pile of hair when you're done brushing!

UPDATE: 3 YEARS LATER & I'm still using this brush! I've found that occasional washing with alcohol & a soft tooth brush helps eliminate any oil buildup. I think I'll be ordering another few just in case I can't get them in the future!

Our male cat, Pusspuss, has quite a temperamental nature so it was with great bravery and terror that I approached him with this brush!

Normally with other standard type brushes this leads to a hiss and a frenzied attack against my hand! I ask you, what's the difference between this brush and say a comb? Unless I somehow learned to speak cat language it's going to remain a mystery.

Thank God he likes this brush as I was seriously considering just hoovering him if he attacked me again!

Finally I can groom him cutting down on the black hairs shed everywhere but more importantly improving his comfort. Bye bye fur balls!

Got it today after ordering on prime. No big box, fit nicely through the door in a cardboard envolope.
As you can see from the photos, it works a treat! The cat LOVES it, she doesnt like being brushed much but this probably feels like a nce good scratch to her. As for the dogs, my male is a Malamute x Cattle dog (double coat), female is Malamute x Lab (single coat).
Female doesnt have the kind of fur for a de-shedder really but it did a good job of collecting her lose fur into a tuft for easy clean up. Male needs daily brushing as his fur is thick and long, its normaly about an hours job and tiring, but WOW! This took about 30 mins for a full brush and not tiring at all! Plus i didnt have to faff around getting the fur out every 2 minutes, just a quick swipe after a few mins and it comes off ready to be used again.
I suspect it will be quicker and easier from now on, as the previous brushes just didnt cut it, so it had a lot of work to do this first brush. Cat doesnt stay still, she walks around you wanting attention but the brush is a good size and ease of stroke that it still managed to pic up her thick fur easily from her just walking past.
My ferrets winter coats occasionally need a brush, it doesnt do an amazing job as they dont shed a lot, it does however take out random dirt in their fur like fluff or substrate which is really good for keeping the coats healthy. Would be great for long haired animals like rabbits.
Overall very happy with the brush, made my life a lot easier due to painful joints. Its a well made, solid brush, large handle with rubber gripping and light weight. Comes with a cover/protecter for the metal bristles too, which arent danerously sharp enough to cut yourself with but it stops things getting entangled.

I use this product to groom my rescue cat who has a hair ball issue due to nervous tension and I have just found out that he has a food allergy issue. This has caused him to have dry skin with bits of flaky dandruff. I use this to groom him and he loves it. He has short hair (Bombay cat) but he loves this event. I now groom him daily to keep his loss of hair under control.

He purrs like mad and lays down so I can reach his whole upper body and sides without an issue. His belly is still a bit bald due to his historical over grooming mainly due to aniexty and food allergy issues but when the hair returns I will try to use this on his belly as well!

Lots of hair comes away and it is not left on his fur to cause issues when he licks himself during the day. I then wrpe hom down with a damp cotton wool pad to remove any loose hair. Great buy, worth every penny.

I initially used a grooming glove which was OK but this product is much better. His dry skin is clearing but his coat looks wonderful. His hair ball issue is also getting much better.

This tool is amazing. We have a long haired cat and we've been struggling for months to get rid of her tangled fur using other methods (including taking her to a cat hairdresser) until we heard about this one. It does a perfect job, and the good thing is that she enjoys it. I totally recommend this product.

Calmed an Anxious Shedding Beast!

I foster dogs and had to find a good brush for my recent super shedder. My home was full of "furnados" swirling around even when vacuuming twice a day. He has high anxiety and previous abuse. Just touching him was a challenge at first and then using a regular brush was almost impossible. After getting him used to lots of petting and love - I needed to find a brush that he would accept.
After reading the reviews - I thought I would give it a try. I could not believe that this anxious boy fell asleep and is now a grooming addict! It is so satisfying seeing all the fur come out and go in the garbage instead of swirling around my floors and furniture. Also, I am so happy that he feels safe and is enjoying grooming - probably for the first time in his not so happy life.

I have 2 longhairs cats who don’t like being brushed. I have terrible trouble with one of them as he comes in all knotted up and I have to take him to the vet to be shaved. I bought this comb out of desperation, wanting to try anything. I have been pleasantly surprised. The comb doesn’t tug at the fur, just gently combs through the knotty bits of the fur. My cats are tolerating this comb and I am managing to groom them without much trouble. Up to now, it’s a thumbs up from Me, Ginger and Poppy.

What a fantastic brush for my pugaliers hair.I hoover 2/3 times a day with hair everywhere.Even a belly rub on the sofa was covered that you could hardly see the colour of it as there was so much hair.She looks so shiny now with very little hair coming of her and i cant thankyou enough.You have made my life alot easier and im sure my hoover will last longer now.As for my dog,she is happier now having got rid of all that excess hair.I will look forward to trying more of your products.
