Our popular Mission backpack is the ultimate accomplice ready to go everywhere you go. This super organized pack is equally equipped for mountain missions or navigating the daily grind. Features like a padded iPad sleeve and dedicated laptop sleeve as well as a front organizer pocket will keep you sharp, while the fleece-lined sunglass/goggle pocket, vertical board carry straps and stowable waist belt ensure there's still plenty of fun going down.

This year, I bought these backpacks. I loaded each backpack with their clean clothes, goggles, accessories, gloves, then strapped their boards with the board strap. I strapped their helmets on one of the straps and they were all hands free! All my husband and I had to carry was the food bag. It worked great! After snow-boarding, they pulled out their clean clothes, swapped their snow gears and packed them in and off we went to the car without complaints. I would highly recommend this product.
So far I've gotta say I'm impressed. This backpack, like all Dakine products, is built like a tank. I don't snowboard or skateboard or anything, so I use those front straps to attach my sweater or coat, so they don't take up space inside the bag. I rarely use the front organizer pocket, and honestly wish it wasn't there, but I use all the others and the placement of those on this bag is awesome. I also like the laptop sleeve, although I wish there was more direct access for that. I'd also love to have a well-anchored attachment point for a carabiner, too, so I could hook up my water bottle on the outside.
Overall, though, this was a great purchase, well worth the price, and I'm eager to see how much abuse THIS bag can take. I have a feeling I won't be replacing it for quite some time.
There are only 2 things that I would change: 1. the sunglasses pocket on the top is PERFECT for cell phones and sunglasses cases, but it makes it very difficult to get a laptop (or iPad Pro, in my case) out of the inside sleeve. Either the pocket needs to be a little more shallow, or the laptop sleeve needs to be relocated to the inside divider of the backpack instead of being against the back wall. 2. The side pockets would be much easier to access if they zipped in the other direction -- or if they expanded once opened to hold a water bottle.
The colors (Willamette) are very subdued. While I normally choose bright and colorful bags and totes, this backpack made me feel more my age, and make this pack perfect for sharing with my sons or my husband when I'm not using it. I plan on keeping my eye out for accessories that match!
