I use a teaspoon of the spread on top of a tablespoon of Gorgonzola.
Here's a good way to use this stuff: Make a grilled sandwich with turkey breast and a little brie cheese, and on one side inside the sandwich spread a bit of fig spread. Just need about a Tbsp...and on the other inside, a touch of mayo if you like. Use big sourdough bread. Lightly butter the outside of sandwich and grill or cook in panini press, if you have it.
OMFG it's GOOOOOOOOOD.
There are many ways to use this jam, for a simple treat to serve with chai masala, we spread it on homemade shortbread cookies & sprinkle with toasted crushed pistachios. Guests always devour these cookies down to the last crumb.
Hope you never change the recipe, it's perfect!
Sad but true lol

Best fig preserve spread ever. Goes great on top of goat cheese and is pretty easy to spread. I love the seeds inside--they give great texture and a rustic feel. Excellent flavor.Published 1 month ago by Natalie F.
I do love this, just was very very unhappy when I saw it at Publix for $6.99. So next time I will go to publix and save a bit.Published 4 months ago by Mary Jeanne Wilson
