"Damaged Lives" is the story of several people who went through Scientology: some survived; at least three did not. I've read every book written about Scientology and this is one of the most interesting because most of the books are the story of one person's experience and there's a sameness about them. But this author tells the stories -- in very readable mostly first person -- of people who have gone through all aspects of the Scientology experience, e.g., being in their prison camps, being harassed by them, having a nervous breakdown after their auditing. I highly recommend this book and only wish every person in the cult would read it as well.
