Dan Winters is a great artist. He and his technique created a unique signature. One of the most extraordinary collections of the 21th Century.

This is a wonderful book with a cross section of Dan Winters photographs. Dan is a noted photographer of our era and I believe this is the first book released with his photographs. Hopefully additional books are forthcoming.

A fascinating combination of personal and assignment photography that is truly an inspiration for any visual artist or person interested in photography. His images are thought provoking, timeless and unpredictable. With every turn of the page you are tickled with images that surprise and inspire. Even celebrities who are constantly photographed are shown in a completely different and more revealing way. By looking at his images you can tell that a lot of soul and heart went into the making of these photographs. Dan is one of the most unique and skilled portrait photographers working today. This book is a classic photo book and is a must have!

There's something about these photographs. I found myself staring at them a long time. Like there were many layers to them. There is definitely a natural history feel to the photographer's work. It's almost like his studio was set up in the back room of a museum. The images capture so much of the subject. And the style is so elegant and pure that the images have an amazing depth. I don't think this book will ever leave my coffee table.
