One night, while making supper, our microwave up and died on us. So, we were in need of a new one. Now, our family seems to go through many microwaves. None seem to last too long for us. We have had expensive ones in the past and after they did not last, we decided to go a cheaper route. My husband and I looked over Amazon for one that would work for us. We also have old wiring, so we can't go too high in wattage, making it more difficult to find a good microwave that will do the job and hopefully last, but not too expensive.

I came across this one. I had never heard of the name before, but it did have great reviews and the price was right and it was Prime Shipping.This came 2 days after I ordered it and it was shipped nicely. Taking the microwave out of the box and putting it where I need it, we finally got to examine it. It is very nice designed and was easy to figure out. What we love is the Express Buttons. You press 1-6 if your needs are between 1 minute and 6 minutes. No need to hit time cook, put the numbers in and hit start. You literally just press 1-6. Another nice feature is the +30 second button. It is on the start button, so if you are cooking and you think it needs a few more seconds, just hit the start button for another 30 seconds. Other features are defrost by weight, potato, pizza, drink settings. They are very self explanatory, but the instructional booklet helps explain things nicely.

So far, this is a very nice microwave and I hope it lasts me more than 1 year

Summary:
This is a fabulous little microwave that does everything it's suppose to do and does it well.

Background:
I work in a small office and, after the communal staff break room was shrunk by 2/3 to make room for more equipment, realized that I probably would do well to bring in a small microwave and dorm refrigerator to help ease the congestion in our now minuscule break room. I've been using this microwave now for the past couple months and can wholeheartedly recommend it.

Pros:
- relatively small footprint
- sufficiently easy to use controls
- glass turntable that is easy to clean
- well lit interior (bright enough, anyway)
- sufficient power to easily heat up leftovers and warm up coffee

Cons:
- none really so far

This is just a good, basic, quite affordable little microwave that is perfect for light duty, single person use. I can't speak to its longevity - only time will tell - but for now, I can recommend this without hesitation.

Decent cheap microwave with good power and capacity

This is a CHEAP microwave. It works fine, and as long as you use it correctly, it's not going to break. However, there are several areas where it's obvious that corners were cut to keep the price low.

PROS:
-It's INEXPENSIVE! Seriously, it's hard to beat this price.
-Well-powered with good capacity for this price-point. (For those on the fence about power and capacity, I think it's definitely worth going up a tier from the lowest power and sized microwaves. Small, under-powered microwaves just aren't worth the hassle.)
-It won't break under normal use. I've had this microwave for several months, and I've yet to notice any wear-and-tear.

CONS:
-It's LOUD. Microwaves in general are loud, but this one in particular makes a loud rattle when it's running.
-The digital display is hard to read in bright light.
-The buttons are awful. There needs to be an antonym for "tactile" to describe these buttons. They are mushy, cheap, plastic-y, and hard to press.
-In general, the microwave feels cheap. Nudge it, and it will rattle as if all the pieces don't quite fit together correctly.
-It's bulky. For 1.1 cu.ft capacity, it feels big.

CONCLUSION: It's a cheap microwave, both in price and in quality. It's a good microwave though in the sense that it has yet to break for me and performs exactly as expected.

I've been using this microwave for a while now, and I can safely say it was a great purchase.
I bought it based on the number of positive reviews it received, and I'm here to add to that number.

First of all, you should know that this is a small microwave. It's good if you plan to get a plate in there, a cup, a bag of popcorn, or any other smaller item, but you can't really expect to through in anything larger than that.

Also, it's not super fast. The highest power rating is lower than the average, and that means food will take longer to heat up. As a simple example, I used it recently for micro-wave popcorn, and while the bag instructions said that 1:30 would be enough, in reality I had to run it for about 2:30 min.

As long as you understand these limitations and are OK with them, this is a really great product. The only thing I can think of that could maybe be improved beyond these "limitations" is the back side. I can't really push it against the wall, since the power cord doesn't allow it, as as that would mean bending it way too much.

And having all of this in mind, I use it just about every day and I feel like it was a great purchase. I would definitely buy it again.

I ordered this and received it promptly on December 8. Set up was easy, and it worked as advertised. It works well cooking, reheating and defrosting. The only reason I didn't give this a higher rating is that a couple of weeks ago, I noted that the beeper sound was weaker. It has been progressively weaker and as of today, I can barely hear it when standing right next to the microwave. That makes it pretty useless as a timer and inconvenient when cooking something. Having read that you either have to take it into a dealer (not one close by) or ship it, I haven't decided if I am going to pursue it. I may contact Amazon customer service (which is always great) and ask what they recommend.

I had an old Danby that I loved, it broke after 8 years and I was glad to have found this closest replacement. Controls are very handy as you have the one-touch start button for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 min respectively. Pressing START itself will start the microwave for 30 seconds and pressing it again while running adds 30 secs each time. It's literally the fewest number of presses possible to get the job done. Some may complain it doesn't have enough power, but what's a few more seconds to wait in exchange for a compact, sleek, and good looking microwave. It's the smallest, functional unit for my kitchen counter top which is cluttered as it is. I don't know why there aren't more manufacturers competing in this size category!
