Written and directed by Betty Rowen Filmed on location at a Broward County, Florida school with a multi-ethnic group of children and three teachers who display different teaching styles, this video shows the viewer how primary grade children can learn activities to heighten awareness of the basic components of dance: rhythm, space, and quality of movement, while at the same time demonstrating the relationship to language development and number concepts.
