Ashley Solomons learning to dance from her father who was well known and she always felt she had to be perfect or better as that is what would be expected of her. Her father was the famous Daniel Solomons who passed away but not before Ashley promised him she would use her talents.
She found out about an audition and as scared as she was she went to the audition and was chosen to go to Antonio Machiavelli’s to study more at his Rome dance studio and for a chance to earn to be his lead.
What she did not expect is falling in love with him and him with her. The story between the two is with difficulties that might make anyone else say not worth it. But both felt the tug at their hearts so much.
The book is so wrote that you want to keep reading and enjoying the spunk of Ashley and the sparks between Ashley and Antonio to where you wanted to read faster to see what happened next. The book shows all that Ashley had to endure from jealous other dancers to living in a strange place and with strangers. But the final results are worth it with Ashley’s end dance at the showcase with her substitute dancer.
At the end of the day I'd say Dance of Love is a remarkable story of life, love and chasing dreams, teaching us to never give up on things our heart sets out to achieve but rather to put our best foot forward until we win the battle of fulfillment in the end.
This is a story with ups and downs as Ashley and Antonio journey to a beautiful HEA one that will have you smiling I highly recommend this one.
Ashley wants and needs to focus on her dream, but when Antonio starts haunting her dreams too, she has to make some difficult choices.
I love movies that focus on dancing and romance, but I didn’t get to read a lot of books yet that dealt with this trope. Dance of Love does it quite well, though. The chapters are short and fast-paced, the scenes feel natural even the dancing scenes (I often find those hard to describe in books, or some descriptions are too technical / not in-depth enough) and for me, the most intriguing part of the book were the characters. Antonio and Ashley are strikingly similar yet vastly different, and that’s what is intriguing about them. The reader gets to know them more as the book progresses, and it’s easy to see these two together.
I would recommend this book if you enjoy sweet romance and of course, if you like dancing, or books having to do with dancing. I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.
